“I've been bringing my dogs here for some time, I have never encountered anyone being rude but the wait times tend to fluctuate but most of the time I spend about an hour to maybe an hour and fifteen minutes. The dogtor seems very nice and the staff are very nice as well. Prices aren't sky high and I like their flexibility when it comes to scheduling.“

The vets always explain everything and the vet techs love the pets. They even sent a condolences card when I let them know one of my dogs had passed. The card shared little memories from the vet and vet techs who knew him. It really touched our hearts especially when we were mourning. They always do follow up calls after visits and respond when we need some advice for our pup. “Dr.Sheriff was very caring, she was checking my cat Luna!
Luna is a senior cat, she lost some weight recently and she was not feeling well. Doctor and her assistant did a great job looking after Luna, they took her to the lab inside in the hospital for blood work and urine test.
The entire process was very quick: I had the appointment in time, full checkup on my kitty was done as much as needed, and the blood work took only 20-30 minutes.
They gave Luna ?‍⬛ for home pain medicine for 7 days, she’s taking it as needed; they gave her a hydration boost at the lab, also some great wet can food for senior cats to take home. Luna liked it, and she began eating it right away once we were back home. Also doctor gave her appetite stimulants for 5-7 days, and it helps my pet. I see that she began eating a little more.

We’re still waiting on her blood work results, but I hope Luna will get better, and will heal soon ??

“This vet clinic is way better than a national chain. My dog was misdiagnosed on a Saturday with pancreatitis at a national veterinary chain company, with that vet insisting she needed to be hospitalized for 3 to 4 days, minimum cost $5000. I love my dog dearly, but she is quite elderly, has major spinal issues and dementia problems, and she needs to constantly be with me or she stresses. Putting her in hospital would break her. That vet acted as if I were a horrible human. Worse, though that vet prescribed pain medication for her, he didn’t give his required vet code. Since it was a controlled substance, the pharmacy wouldn’t give it to me. So though he went on about how intense her pain was, he made it impossible for her to get the pain reliever he insisted she needed! Thank goodness Olympic Pet Hospital was recommended to me: They got me in at 10 AM on a Monday holiday! Dr. Lucia Kwon was kind and diligent. She truly listened to me. Not only did she prescribe an effective non-controlled substance but she made sure it would help with my dog’s spinal and nerve pain. When she discovered I had given a friend’s cat subcutaneous IV daily, she assured me I could do the same for my dog if her condition deteriorated and she needed help with fluids. That way, I wouldn’t have to hospitalize her if things got worse. I cannot speak more highly of this woman — knowledgable, thoughtful, gentle with my baby and reassuring to me. My dog was better in 1.5 days under her treatment protocol. I just wish I would have gone to her on Saturday; that would have saved me the $40O I wasted at the substandard national chain. And my dog wouldn’t have suffered for two days. I would give this clinic and vet 10 out of 5 stars if I could.“

“Dr Brooks and her staff are very caring, devoted and effective. My dog Mocha had a medical problem with confusing symptoms that VCA ER was not able to get to the bottom of unless we waited all night. I called Mar Vista Vet and they got him in very quickly and worked around my schedule, made sure to thoroughly rule out high acuity medical issues such as pancreatitis, and when my dog left we knew his symptoms where not related to anything other than his back aches. When Mocha left Mar Vista Vet he was happy and feeling better. Thank you Dr Brooks and Mar Vista Vet staff for being there for Mocha!“

“I can’t recommend Dr. Kumar and his team highly enough. Both of my dogs have been going here their whole lives, and the care they’ve received has been nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Kumar’s team are an asset, always going the extra mile and what really stands out is that he never pushes unnecessary treatment. He truly has his pawtients best interests at heart. It’s rare to find a vet who combines skill with genuine compassion, but this clinic does just that. A place where you know your pets are not just $$ and will receive the best care possible.
