“It is now two weeks out from Casa Utopia completing our home remodel project. We are absolutely delighted with the work and outcome.
The scope of our project went from simple hardwood floor replacement and painting of three rooms, to a complete bathroom remodel which included the relocation of water supply and drains.
Raz was our Project Manager. He maintained open lines of communication, explained every step, and kept the project moving. Previously, our other bathroom remodel took 10 weeks (different contractor). Raz had this bathroom project finished within 4 weeks (with an additional week for the flooring replacement of the other rooms). We never felt this was a side project for them. The team was at our house every morning at 8am, and put in solid hours to get our project completed.
As for quality, things I notice, all the grout lines are straight (wall and floor), the hardwood flooring was cut evenly (no jagged edging), texturing of the walls matches the walls that were not modified. We have consistency throughout.
We need to also mention and thank Nicole, who was our designer. She was very patient every time we changed our mind on a design element. Her quick turn-around on the CAD drawings helped my wife visualize the final project. This gave us the confidence that we were not going to regret any aspect of the final product.
If we had to do this over, we would choose Casa Utopia again. We have already recommended them to several friends.“

“While the company’s name only mentions services related to “chimney”, they also offer dryer vent cleaning services. I called United Chimney Services because my vent had somehow separated from my dryer and lint began to fly about my laundry room.

Andy came out and spent two hours cleaning out my vent duct, not only extracting all the lint by hand but also by brushing the duct walls clean. Previous companies that came out to clean the duct merely pulled out by hand, leaving the walls covered by lint.

Andy did a very thorough, excellent job. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and very nice. He told me that a lint-packed dryer vent is one of the most frequent reasons for home fires, so it’s really important to ensure it’s cleaned at least every year, even more frequently if you dry lots of loads. I’ll be using United Chimney Services in the years to come.“

“Adam and Sammy's crew reframed the back of the kitchen and added support for a vaulted ceiling. They relocated the range, ran all new electric, and built in a large appliance wall. We also added an island with seating. The job was done right.“

“We hired Level Up builders in November of 2024 for a kitchen remodel . We had interviewed two other companies but ultimately felt the most comfortable going with Eli our salesman and project manager. The pace of the job was very smooth right off the bat and only picked up once the work started. During the design phase the team including Liane were very pleasant to work with. Liane was extremely patient and helpful while she met us at two design stores to assist us in choosing colors and layouts.

Once the work started, we were very impressed with the site prep as Eli delivered on keeping as much dust out of the the rest of the house. He made sure crew setup plastic sheeting throughout the whole bottom floor with zipper doors included so we could still access the living room and upstairs. From here, we were very pleased with the pace of things. Eli and his team are very eager to work and do not make you wait. The demo happened very quickly and before we knew it we were moving very quickly through rough electrical and plumbing. The rest of the job went very smoothly and ended up being ahead of schedule. At any time if something was not right, Eli was very open to our suggestions and critiques and always made sure his crew fixed the issue. Once the work was done Eli was very responsive and always made sure any minor issues/details were address and fixed.“

“We remodeled our house in Belmont by adding a second floor and completely reconfiguring our first floor. We received bids from several builders but decided to go with Tony. We were living in Menlo Park at the time, and it turns out he lived on our street! Tony presented us with a reasonable bid for the work, and in the end, we are very glad we went with him. Tony has gathered a team of subcontractors over 30 years in the business that he trusts and that do excellent work. He is a great communicator, and he always kept us informed what was being done, what was next, and what additional things he recommended should be/needed to be done. The remodel took longer than we wanted but this was due to our choice not to hire an interior designer but to do all the work in choosing the kitchen designer, tiles, pulls, designing our bathrooms etc. ourselves. But that aside, Tony’s crew did a fantastic job with the new addition even navigating through issues with the design that looked fine on paper but didn’t quite work out as planned. For example, when a door (that would lead down to the garage) would not fit under the new stairs to the second floor, he just moved the garage stairs and made it part of the house (see pics) which turned out very nice, making our great room look even more open! Another positive for Tony is that he gives an honest opinion, especially given we were choosing our own accents. This saved us from a few mistakes we would have regretted, like our kitchen backsplash. In a way, it felt like we were designing our interior (and exterior) together, so Tony was sort of an interior designer (free of charge). Overall, it was a pleasure working with Tony and his crew. Their attention to detail and being sensitive to our needs was top notch. We highly recommend Nolasco Construction.“

“Once I was ready to get the project started, the crew was able to come out a few days later. They knocked it out quickly and with great quality.I had some in-ceiling speakers installed which was pretty involved since speaker wire had to be pulled through a number of obstacles in the ceiling and wall. They got it all patched up and looking like they were never there.They also hid other speaker and TV cables with high precision. I was notably impressed by how they did my Left/Right wall-mounted speaker cables. They took the time to precisely locate the holes they needed to cut so it would (1) be totally hidden and (2) exactly line up with the speaker terminal, which is a small target. It may sound trivial, but it actually would have been rather involved to get that right.In addition to the A/V work, we had them add some recess lights which look fantastic. The foreman was able to help us decide where to locate the lights and we super happy happy with where they are now.With all this work, it was still cheaper than going directly with the A/V installers I quoted initially for just the speaker and speaker wire install.I would 100% hire Rodi Construction again.
