“Thank God I went to this place for my cat who was sick! Last vet visit at Del Valle was a good experience except for the price which they don’t explain the breakdown of cost before treatment, and never treated my cat for fleas which was what was making him sick, and cost me close to a thousand without giving me flea treatment!
Animal Medical Center was professional and came with the computer to show me what each treatment cost before hand! For families that are on a limited income, this place is way better in explaining treatment! Got 4 medications and walked out the door under $200.00! Will be coming back to this clinic for further treatment if necessary!!“

“I have taken a few of my cats here and they have been great. My cat Kenzi got feline diabetes and the diagnosis gave me the option of 2 extra years with her. I am so thankful for that. If anyone ever tells you it is too expensive to take care of your cat when they have diabetes it is not. The insulin was $50 and it lasted 3 months with 2 shots a day and the needles you could get on Amazon and they were $20 and they lasted 2 months. So it is very manageable if ypu want more time with ypur pet.“

“We’ve been with Altamont Cat for 8 years. We love it that Dr. Mathews and vet tech Laura are always so gentle, caring and empathetic to our kitties. Seeing how they gently talk and pet to make our kitties feel good about the procedures always gave me tears in my eyes. They really take the time to be with their patients. They call to check in on our kitties regularly. They always accommodate us when last minute needs arise. They embodied the utmost high quality vet care.

I feel like I have to give Altamont Cat a five star review after one of our cats’ contrasting experiences at a different clinic that he received specialized care from.
