We needed a vet for our new kitties and this place was recommended by several neighbors. I called Monday morning and the man that answered said they didn't have any appointments but he could take my information down and call back if anything opened up, so I did that. I didn't have high hopes given the reviews on here, but just a few hours later I got a call back from them with an appointment available for the same week! I was really impressed when I went in. They are an all cat vet so the kitties don't get scared by any other animals, and everything is set up just for cats. Dr. Matthews is very helpful and all the staff are very kind. I went there once because they had an opening and now it’s the only place I’ll go.They actually came up with a plan and ideas for a cat that can’t lose weight because he has arthritis (so he isn’t active) and pulls his fur out if his food is decreased too much, instead of just “feed him less.” He gets fed a spoonful at a time on opposite sides of the house to force him to walk around, and there are boards in the bottom of the doorways just high enough to make him hop over them lol. The staff was so friendly and knowledgable. It quickly became clear that they really care about your cat and want to make sure they have a comprehensive understanding of their lifestyle, diet, and medical history. I really appreciate the kind tone and care shown by the person I spoke with at the front desk who came out and got my kitten from the car (this is during COVID so curbside is mandatory). I also greatly appreciate that Dr. Matthews took the time to carefully explain everything about my kitten's current health and things I can do to ensure he has good health in the future, including referencing scientific studies that support her claims.
