“Called on a Sat morning. We had to go, so they came immediately. Another company that we used through insurance previously had tried to fix our fridge and the difference between the 2 companies was night and day. All American was prompt, professional, friendly and diagnosed and fixed the issue within a couple hours. The other company dragged it out over 2 weeks and didn't even completely fix it. We paid 4x more this way, but worth it and still much cheaper than a new fridge!“

“I requested a replacement for my Sub Zero refrigerator door the my tenant left some serious dents due to moving. The service technician came promptly once the new door arrived and completed the installation. However, he did not haul away the old door and instead left it in front of the house. This was very inconvenient because I am traveling, and I need to make separate arrangements, at additional cost, to have the door removed.

If haul away service was not included, they should have informed me beforehand. That way, I could have planned accordingly, either by hiring someone else for the full job or by arranging to deduct the removal cost from my tenant’s deposit. Since they are specialists in appliance repair, I think it is reasonable to expected them to handle or at least clearly communicate what would happen with the old part. Their failure to do so left me stranded with an extra burden and expense that could have been avoided with better communication.

UPDATES: I would like to acknowledge Dave for his professionalism and support. he kindly came by to help me remove smudges on the new stainless steel door cause by the factory plastic coverings. And he also assisted me with most of the cost from hauling away the old doors. I truly appreciate his sense of responsibility and his effort to make things right. It is clear that he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction.“
