“Our 18 year old Monier Lifetile Cedarlite roof had many broken tiles due to its inherent fragility and foot traffic from painters and solar equipment installers. Most roofers that we contacted refused to work on it because of its fragility. We eventually found 3 roofers who made bids (one without even going up on the roof!). We chose California Custom Contractors (CCC) because the owner, Greg Meo did a thorough inspection which he documented with photographs. His proposal, again carefully documented with photographs of the proposed repairs, was not the cheapest of the 3 but its thoroughness and Greg's obvious experience with Cedarlite tile roofs (again, more photos of past jobs) made the choice clear. We learned that CCC does not install new roofs but only does repairs.CCC cleaned moss and other debris from the roof, replaced and painted all pipe flashings, replaced all broken tiles and installed metal flashing to replace the original cracked lead flashing. All of the work done was documented with photographs. Our roof now looks fantastic and we are confident that there will be no leaks. Greg and his team of 3 very experienced workers were a pleasure to work with and get my highest recommendation. If your roof needs careful conscientious repair, call California Custom Contractors; despite their generic name, they only repair roofs.“

I made a conclusion that this best roofing company has a complete understanding of "what, how, when, and why". “I've had Western Sierra do a couple of jobs for me over the last few years. They repaired a damaged and leaking roof when a tree branch fell on it -- leak is now fixed. They just completed realigning my roof gutters and installing new leaf screens. It rained this morning, and the runoff drained perfectly. Their prices are reasonable, their workers are considerate and efficient, and it's been an excellent experience overall. (They did take an extra day to complete the job, but this wasn't a problem for me.) I'd certainly use them again for roof or rain gutter work.“
