“I have been to La Mesa Rehab twice in the last year and a half. It has to do with Physical Therapy and each time I go for treatment, I find myself becoming a part of the team because the therapist are so organized and they know which exercises will benefit methe most. The team looks to see if I fully understand what I need to do before each exercise and whether I can repeat the correct way when I return for my next session.Everyone is kind and I can't help but feel more confident of myself and what I have achieved. “I suffered a fairly serious shoulder injury while skiing last February (2022). I could barely move my arm due to pain/stiffness. MRI showed moderate damage to rotator cuff and surrounding tissue. Post surgery, after ~four weeks in a sling, I could barely raise my arm - extremely limited range of motion and significant loss of muscle strength. I was concerned that I would never fully recover the use of my arm, which is a problem for a very active person.
