“We have been running our AC since the weather has been so hot and humid of late and notice this wheezing whenever the it would start up. Turns out one of the filters have not been changed since who knows when. ??. We called Home Upgrade Specialist, since we have used them before, and Daniel was able to come out today. “Wow these guys are my heroes! I had a 10 year old dual-head LG mini split system that was blowing lukewarm, so I did a search and found universal heating and Air, who said they would come out for a “free” estimate/diagnostic. Apparently you get what you pay for, cause the technician who came out didn’t know what he was doing a blew a fuse in the motherboard of the condenser, which knocked out all of the heat I had in my 900 sq ft back house. It was in the low 40’s at night that week, so I begged him to find the part he needed to fix it. he gave me his “work cell” number and promised he’d get back to me the next day. A half hour later, I called, and they had blocked my number! I went through calling maybe 5 to 10 contractors, some of whom worked on LG, some of who didn’t. Rather than trouble shoot my problem, they all wanted to sell me a new system to replace my LG. One wanted to sell me a Mitsubishi system for 10 K without even looking at the LG system to see if it could be repaired. Thank goodness I found Air Control!!!! Sergio came out and within a short time had both mini splits blasting heat! He cleaned the filters and troubleshooted the motherboard with no problem, replacing a blown fuse for a $55 charge and a smile. Do yourselves a favor and don’t call anybody else. These people are a godsend! So grateful I found them!“

“With the warmer weather, we switched to AC mode for the first time after installing our new HVAC system by 74 degrees. Unfortunately, the air out of the vents was not cool. Flavio was assigned to come to troubleshoot and repair our AC. He was very methodical in checking out various aspects and through his expertise, he found that our condensate drain was clogged. As a result, the safety switch shut down the cooling operation. He quickly unclogged the drains and meticulously cleaned it out, and our system was up and running! A few comments about Flavio…He is extremely smart, and very professional. He is so polite and takes the time to patiently answer my questions. I am extremely happy with his service. He gained my trust. I wish everyone who does work on our house would be like him!! He is undoubtedly a major asset to 74 Degrees!“
