The owners and teachers are all devoted to creating a perfect yoga atmosphere for the students. And the variety of classes from yin to chair to slow flow to vinyasa make it a studio that works for all bodies’s needs.“

3618 Highland Ave, Manhattan Beach“I can’t say enough good things about this studio! The entire staff is amazing—super knowledgeable and incredibly welcoming. Classes are filled with people from all stages of life. I also love how there isn’t a mirror in the studio, I’m much more connected to how my body feels throughout class as opposed to getting distracted trying to perfect my alignment. 12/10!“

1824 W 182nd St, Torrance“Karate at Kaizen Dojo is lifestyle driven; it isn't just about learning karate moves. Sensei Ford prioritizes mindfulness, building students up from within, mind and body health, self-confidence, happiness, awareness, and resilience.
Both of my children have taken karate lessons at different places. Kaizen stands out, to me, as more traditional. The art of karate is present here; the reveredness of the kata. It reminds me of Daniel San and Mr. Miyagi practicing choreographed karate movements: on the stump on the beach, or in Okinawa, with the scored music behind it. I love watching the kids practice their katas.
Sensei Ford is kind and brings play to each class to keep the kids engaged. They work hard, and, yet, it doesn't occur as such. It's impressive how much my daughter knows, and how much she loves to practice and demonstrate her moves at home.
I'm truly grateful to have Kaizen Dojo and Sensei Ford in our lives. Both have made a lasting and positive impact on myself and my family.“
5AM - 12:30PM
3308 Highland Ave, Manhattan Beach“Pleasantly surprised how awesome this place was - the teacher, Dan, and the other yoga practitioners were super right on! I came in from out of town and I felt very comfortable here getting a very detail oriented sequence. Awesome brief sound bath following the asanas - kind of like a special at the end of class that day. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town. Great vibes.“
5:30 - 6:30PM
14708 Hawthorne Blvd, Lawndale“I was hesitant to take work out a class after experiencing a bad ankle injury. However this class absolutely exceeded my expectations. The pool is heated and the warm water made the experience easy for me who doesn't love to work out. Highly recommend anyone to try a class with Criselda. She was welcoming, kind and able to make adjustments for my circumstance while giving us a fun high intensity low impact workout. Overall great class great experience, far better than any spin class Ive ever taken. I had a lot of fun and will definitely be coming back again.“
6:45 - 11AM
3504 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach“A lovely little gem of a studio. The only disappointments are the lack of parking and no shower. I was fortunate to take class on a weekday at 9 AM so there was plenty of street meter parking. Even so, one has to be careful of the no parking signs for street cleaning and all the various rules. When I mentioned the of the parking to the front desk, she said yes the weekdays were easier. So I would definitely give yourself a healthy amount of time to find a parking spot, at least 15 minutes. I just happen to get lucky. Space is very tranquil. It's lovely and full of light and has really beautiful hardwood floors. There is one tiny bathroom with a sink with only cold water. No place to shower nor change. Bring your own mat or you can pay to rent one. All the props are generously loaned for free, including bolsters, blankets blocks and straps. The class was not too challenging. I didn't break a sweat. But perhaps there are other classes that are more intense. But it was a restful and centering class. TL/dr: perfect spot for locals to enjoy yoga.“
“Yoga108 is the best of the best. The instructors have such positive energy and every time I leave the studio I feel like I just had a massage. This studio offers a good workout but also a relaxing experience. I've been going here since September 2023 and I always leave feeling satisfied. The studio is heated for some classes which is a plus because you break a good sweat. However, the heated classes aren't as hot as a sauna so it's easy to breathe and keep up with the movements which I like. Everyone in the studio, instructors and students alike, are so supportive and have created the most welcoming environment. This studio has created a community that goes beyond the studio walls which I enjoy. I definitely recommend yoga108 if you want a good workout or want to meet some awesome people!“

The hair extensions were a huge hit!!The facility is very clean and perfect for a party. There was a kitchen area that made setup easy.“

901 N Pacific Coast Hwy #100, Redondo Beach“I have nothing but good things to say about this studio. The instructors are really welcoming and kind and the classes are relaxing yet challenging in the best way. I’ve not always been great about having an exercise routine but this studio has been great for my mental and physical health.“
6AM - 10PM
3200 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach“Clean facility with easy parking around the mall. Loved my first sculpt class - good mixture of traditional yoga movements + weights. One hour of good cardio/strengthening workout. Be prepared to get super sweaty!“
“I started practicing yoga over twenty years ago. I started with Hatha/Vinyasa classes which were both great ways to learn the basic asanas. When I moved to the West Coast ten years ago, I was in search of a new yoga studio. I had never taken Iyengar classes before, but I was open to trying it. To say this practice has changed my life is an understatement.Through joining LYFE, I was introduced to the most extraordinary yoga teacher, Michael Ruccolo. His approach to the practice is transformative. His knowledge of the body as well as his focused attention to each student is unprecedented. This studio also provides a sense of community, allowing students to connect in and outside of the yoga room. I am grateful to have found such a supportive space along with Michael, a one-of-a-kind teacher.“
“An experience that’s flawless. Makes you feel lighter and instructors bring incredible passion to their classes like an art.“
5:30AM - 8PM
210 Whalers Walk, San Pedro“I'm new to this gym. I wanted to try something new so I started with Kickboxing. It was hard but I really enjoyed it and I felt welcome and totally appreciated the patience and attention from Kim who led the class. Today I tried 2 different classes led by Ian. First, Strap Strength which I assume is a TRX variant. I really liked this one! And then I stayed for the next class, Fit for Life. That was a totally different class that went through stretch, balance and resistance band strength exercises. For a first timer, in every class, I felt welcome and was impressed that even though these were group classes, instruction was tuned to each of us as if it was a personal training session. The gym is very clean, neat and well organized. And the location is amazing. A gym set in a corner of a beautiful marina! I loved it. The schedule is set up for regulars as well as drop ins. For me that is a huge plus. Harbor Fitness gets "thumbs up" from me.“

“I play at LA Fitness Basketball gyms, all across California/Arizona and I’ve been a charter member for over 30 years. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean Elizabeth and John keep the floors and walls. I was shooting around and saw them working around me and had to let them know what a great job they were doing. Super job!“
