“My son enjoys going to Villatoro. He has learned great focus at home and at his elementary school. I tell everyone about how amazing this has been for my son and my friends and family have seen the improvement in my son as well! My son loves the innovative ideas the classes create for him. Especially the obstacle courses. :) We have a future Villatoro Bushido student!“

“All the Sensais and coaches in RDK San Dimas are passionate on Karate, and wholeheartedly help every of their students to have successful Karate training journey. They are patient with students by motivating them to through different ways, and more so they make each karate class full of fun and excitement. Other than the regular karate classes, they devote resource and energy on other fun-filled activities outside of the regular class time. I have put my son in their dojo for over 3 years and it's been an amazing journey so far. I would choose this dojo again if I were to pick again, despite the long commute.“

“My children have been studying karate at this dojo for over 2 years now. In those two years, they have been challenged physically, mentally, and emotionally. They have gained self confidence that shows during their tournaments, belt testing, as well as in their school. The teachers are amazing, understanding, and able to meet the kids where they are while pushing them to be the best that they can be, I drive 40 min plus so my children can attend this dojo, and it is without a doubt 100% worth it.“

“My kids have been attending All Star TaeKwonDo for over 2 years now. I am extremely impressed with their program. They offer numerous classes throughout the week which is great for families with busy schedules that require flexibility. Classes have a very good student to instructor/assistant ratio and all classes are infused with a lot of fun exercises and games that keep the students fully engaged. The instructors are all highly skilled and knowledgeable, and they truly care about their students. They create a fun and safe environment for learning. Not only do the instructors teach the physical techniques of taekwondo, but they also emphasize the importance of discipline, respect, and perseverance. My kids have shown significant improvement in their focus, confidence, and overall physical fitness since starting this program.I highly recommend All Star TaeKwonDo to any parents looking to enroll their kids in an excellent martial arts program that promotes both physical and mental growth.“

“Kailukuan is a beautiful homage to indigenous Filipino culture emphasizing martial arts and healing arts. The owners are kind hearted and embody so much history passed on to them. They welcome everyone to experience and learn! There are virtual classes available for anyone to partake even around the world! There are also in-person classes at reasonable times to fit into your schedule and around work hours. Their website is easy to navigate and you can also just dial their number and speak to the owners directly! If you’re looking for a martial arts studio that teaches you the the physical and mental skills and also helps you heal? This may be the home you’re looking for!“

“This is the best Jiu Jitsu class because they truly focus on teaching. I've tried other places where it's mostly about fun. I don't want to spend money, especially time, driving and waiting for my kid for a Jiu Jitsu class just for fun. But here, after just one free class, I didn't hesitate to sign up for a year. They really teach things even from the first class. I really like the coaches here, especially Mr. Albert. He is kind yet strict, maintaining full control to ensure that kids are not just playing around but learning properly. I appreciate the balance of discipline and kindness. I am very thankful to have found this place and highly recommend this business!“

“Excellent school for our 12 year old daughter. She started back in May and has loved every minute of it. Really appreciate the thoughtful instruction that establishes accountability on the student to progress and develop, but in a team oriented environment. Everyone supports and motivates each other and the instructors are incredible. Excited to see her continued development!“

“Kru Walter and the coaches (Wilson / Lynn / Machete) are great. I've been with this gym for over a month and my stamina has improved tremendously. I am more confident in my kicks and combos now than ever before ( no prior martial art experience). The staff is very supportive of adjusting your body stances and techniques. They provide great insight on setting up your body for seamless combos. They really push you to your limit but don't berate you. It's this attitude (along with other students attitudes) that give a safe environment to step in as a beginner and excel with no judgments.Although there are no belts to obtain to showcase your "experience", the ultimate way to show your results is by how fluid your combos and techniques are, how quick your body resets after blocking to return the attack. That in itself is something you will always take with you.Update: Coach Lynn is a current two belt Champion.“

“I recommend taekwondo for kids with ADHD or ASD. My son is both. Because he needs individual attention team sports or activities don't work well for him. Parents and kids are mean and will bully him because he needs more time to learn. So martial arts let's him be in a group activity but compete at his own speed. He has been attending this center for a year. At first I was worried because it's a lot of yelling, and my son has a speech impediment. The yelling is not abuse. Let me be clear it's instruction, but my son, because of his ASD will sometimes misinterpret things. In our experience, it has been really great. My son has moved up belts. Yes, the exams are pretty regular and they do cost money but all sports cost money. TKD has taught my son discipline. It has taught him to control his behaviors and it is also set him up with setting goals. He went from a white belt is now a purple belt and he really wants to be a black belt. My daughters play club soccer and it's not cheap either. You pay for what you get. For our family this has been a great investment in our son to grow individually, athletically and mentally. I highly recommend TKD and US BBC. Thanks Master Ham!“

“The dojo provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn judo. The instructors are patient, attentive, and excellent at working with kids of all ages. The instructors do a great job of mixing in the children with the adults so they are all learning concurrently. The sense of community at West Covina Judo Dojo is fantastic. The staff and other parents are friendly, supportive, and welcoming, making it a great place for both kids and parents alike. The training sessions are well-structured and engaging. They keep the children focused and motivated, with a good balance between learning techniques and having fun. All lessons are centered around traditional Kodokan Judo. My child's experience at WCJD has been wonderful. It's not only a place to learn judo but also a place to grow and develop important life skills. I highly recommend this dojo to any parent looking to enroll their child in a judo program. It's a fantastic way for kids to stay active, learn discipline, and build confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment.“

“My daughter has been with RDK for about a year and a half now and we love it! All the Sensi's she's had have been wonderful and supportive. We never had any issues with the previous owners and love the way the new owners have been so hands on with all the kids since they took over!“

“This is a wonderful place to learn jiujitsu. The head instructor Freddy recently relocated and the facility is clean and spacious. Freddy teaches high level judo and jiujitsu and his team is very friendly. The mats are clean and the space is well lit, and well ventilated. I highly recommend this place for jiujitsu enthusiasts.“

“Truly a great place to learn and improve. My 2 sons have been going to GKKC for the past few years. In this time, they have improved on their balance, mind, and focus. Master George cares about his students a lot. If you have ever watched Karate kid, this place is Miyagi Do. Simple, nothing fancy, but good teachings. Give this place a try.“

“The studio is NOT glamorous but you can see and feel the dedication of the students from there. Younger students are encouraged to try their best and excell in all faucets of their life. Adults in the classes attend to learn and improve skills, all egos are checked at the door. The parking lot does leave alot to be desired. Lines can't be seen very easily and some other patrons of the little shopping strip make up their own parking rules...“

“I, brought my son and step son here to get a little more active. Not only did they got more active they got in shape and where taught a art! This was not just any run by the night guy that doesn't know who or what they are doing. From what I seen everyone is treated with respect and no ego trips, everyone worked as a team and at the level they were personally at. I would recommend Sammy and his team to anyone who like to get in shape and learn a self defense or even if they want to take it up a notch and start to compete and win competitions this is the place you want to be at.“

“Great place to learn the art, I’ve been bringing my son for the past year and have noticed a very big improvement in skill, and a boost in self confidence and determination. Would highly recommend for any age child to take some classes. Special since they give you a free week trial.“

“Upon reading the other reviews and what they posted about their bad experience I have to say that has not been the case for us. My son has been attending here since December and we have been very happy with his training and Master Daniel. The class is full of students and everyone works hard during training and all the kids are well behaved. My son is more shy and keeps to himself but his team mates and Master Daniel make him feel at ease. He loves going. Yes it's a contract and billed monthly and we are okay with that. The price is great for us. I would recommend checking out the class yourself and seeing if you like it for your child then going based off old reviews. I don't know what happened in the past but it everything was very straightforward when it came to the contract.“

“My son loves coming in to RDK Dojo, he was a Green Belt in other Dojo out of State, joining RDK helped him improves everything he knows about Karate and keep growing, and learning more not only physical but also mentally and discipline. Sensei Alexis, Sensei Mikayla and Sensei Aiden are great instructors and I can't wait for him to move up and continue his journey with RDK Chino Hills!“

“Brought my son here to challenge himself and get his energy out, however, we accomplished so much more. Master Wilson, and his family of instructors, are well trained wonderful people who are great at building up the children, with love but also building character along the way. We've been here about 5 months and I've now begun classes as well. I love that there is a great mix of age amongst the children & youth and adult classes.Walk right in and say hello.“

“Martial Art Innovations is really innovative. They manage to keep my 3 and 5 year old engaged thought the pre-dragon class. Right now with the uncertainty of Covid19, the pre-dragons class held online is one of the consistent activities the kiddos have. Reviewing the 'social distancing' classes held online, Don and the instructors do a good job keeping the lessons moving, there isn't a dull moment and the kids enjoy every minute of it. 5-stars for Martial Art Innovations all the way.“
