Great place if your are looking to learn self defense and to get in shape. The training environment is clean and safe and the people who go there are pleasant and friendly. Professor Albert Alvorado is the owner and main instructor of the academy. He received his black belt from Master Caique Elias who received his black belt from Grand Master Helio Gracie who was one of the founder of BJJ. If you go train there you will learn from the source. We did a trial class today to see if this is a good program for our son to be a part of. It was a great experience at the trial class. Coach Albert was very professional and accommodating. A loaner gi was supplied and was very impressed on the 1 hour class that we attended. The full hour was full work. Sessions were timed and there was a lot of info and the kids were kept engaged. There was nothing negative about this experience and will be sure to make a decision soon for our son to be a part of the team.

I've been training Jiu-Jitsu for almost 10 years. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. This is definitely a good school. Awesome instruction, great training partners, kick-a$$ playlist, and porrada! This is definitely a quality over quantity school and probably the most legit that you will find in the SGV.
