Jen is amazing! About to be 50 yrs old, never had extensions, never really considered it. But perimenopause has not been good to me. My hair is not only falling out, but the texture had gone to shit in the last few years. A couple months ago I realized I needed to do SOMETHING before my wedding. I came across a video on extensions, and the person reccomended natural beaded rows, and specifically finding a stylist who is certified. That is how I found Jen. So glad I made the investment. I seriously feel like a new woman. I actually hate doing my hair, but even walking out with it in braids I feel beautiful. Jen worked with me, put up with my indecisiveness, gave me great advice. I looked amazing on my wedding day, and a huge part of that is thanks to Jen. I drive an hour each way just to see her, she is that good!!

Came in a bit ago (I’m so sorry, this is long overdue!) and got my hair cut by Sara.
I had done my research and was looking for somewhere that was going to have a stylist for the haircut that I wanted (lots of layering), and once I came across her page I knew that I wasn’t going to be disappointed.
Not only was my hair cut amazingly, but Sara was also so kind and friendly too. I hadn’t gotten my hair cut in well over a year, and the whole experience was truly great. I loved the environment as well, and the whole aesthetic of the salon. This was important to me because I have major panic and anxiety attacks, and I was afraid I’d feel uncomfortable, but Sara made sure that I felt as comfortable as possible the entire time.

Poli is amazing, and this review is long overdue! I have been going to Poli at least a year now for balayage and keratin complex blonde treatments. She really takes pride in her work, and is a total perfectionist which I love because I am so picky about my hair. I have recommended her to others, and my whole family goes to her now! I have never been so happy with my hair. She has helped me find the best low maintenance solutions so I actually need to get my hair done less, which is important for me since I have actually been driving all the way from San Francisco for my appointments! She really wants you to be happy with your hair and will go the extra mile for you to be.

I went with my wife to get a pedicure, they did a great job on the callus removal and cleaning. The chairs we sat on were massaging chairs that were super confortable. After the pedicure they massaged our legs for a good amount of time. They are appointment only which is nice so they manage their time per each service. Overall they did an awesome job. I'll definitely be coming back.
In town for work and I love going to Aveda salons ..rarely do the disappoint. The salon is cozy located downtown Gilroy. One thing I look forward to at Aveda salons is the Tea (or wine) unfortunately I do not think they had any as it wasn't offered by receptionist when I arrived. I also look forward to the hand message, or aromatic scalp message with warm towel wrap...this tends to vary from salon to salon. I didn't experience any of these either. However BECKY my stylist was AMAZING! She listened to what I was looking for and far exceeded my expectations! She is why I am giving 4 stars.. had any of the other things happened this would be 5 stars for sure. Maybe it was just an off day. Either way I will return while In town simply to get an amazing cut with great conversation from BECKY :)

Reilly's was very good to us. Me and my son were playing catch outside and the football hit an outside water line and it broke. Water gushing everywhere, including into our basement. I called and Chris was here in 20 minutes, fixed it fast and well done. I've had other plumbers here before, but I wont call them back before I call Reilly's

We have a tankless water heater that stopped functioning and called Ernie's plumbing. They sent out a qualified tech that was specialized in our type of water heater. He advised us that it was initially plumbed in improperly and provided us with several options to correct the issue. I'd like to say I'm very satisfied with the staff at Ernie's Plumbing. I found them to be quite honest, professional, and they arrived on time. The job was completed and our water heater is working perfectly. I highly recommend this company.

I've now had two great interactions with SVHF. They did an awesome job refinishing our floors on our house back in 2014. We called them up again for another place. After assessing our floors Tony gave an honest opinion that the best thing to do was just clean and fill. He took the time to explain all the options and why he recommended that over actually getting them refinished or replaced. He recommended some products and explained the basics.

We used Rob for a new hardwood floor (hickory) in our home (about 1700 sq feet). He was remarkable. On time, on budget and very easy to work with. I hired McCowan's Construction to remodel my master bathroom which is huge! I had a vision of what I wanted and it wasn't anything like what I had. Ron took me around to different tile and stone shops. All of a sudden, I knew exactly what I wanted. They gave me a quote and a timeline. Everything went right on schedule. They had the best crew working with them. Everything was spot on. My bathroom came out better than I could have ever imagined. I have to show it to anyone that comes over. These guys were just incredible! I already have another job lined up that I need them to give me a quote on. McCowan's Construction is just the best.

Frank made our kitchen of our dreams. It was easy to communicate with him and make our dreams come to life. He has a great eye for detail, intricate designs, and symmetry. Their installers were great and fast. The secretary was very receptive and helpful. It was great and wonderful working with them to make our dream kitchen. Would recommend to anyone who wants good quality wood furniture.
He was able to point out details we weren’t aware of which would impede the development of the kitchen and proposed solutions. He was able to color match our island to our china cabinet. Allowed us to bring home wood samples to compare to our walls and tile choices. We purchased some beautiful handles with him that helped accentuate the details carved in the cabinets. He made us a custom cutting board with a hole to dispose of our scraps which was right over the waste bin cabinet. His team installed some beautiful under cabinet lighting. And some convenient toe kicks within the actual cabinets to avoid ramming into the cabinets. Every shelf is adjustable and I love the engravings of the company name to help remind you who gave you your dream kitchen.
Frank was a subcontractor on a project I worked on in Hillsborough. It's commonly hard working with subs and never was with Frank. The cabinets he and West Valley built for us were very well done. The project only called for paint grade lumber but you could tell that did not at all affect their quality of craftsmanship. Everything was very well built and sturdy. Quality European hinges made everything easily adjustable if necessary. All joints were beautiful and every finished surface was sanded to perfection. Additionally, I called on Frank to do the install as well. He squeezed us in a little last minute and still at a reasonable price. He did a great job scribing the cabinets to fit the extremely non-plum walls we were working with like a glove. He even provided his expertise in working with us and the countertop installers on some design modifications to make the cabinetry and counters work better together than the designers designed them to.

Pete came out to inspect some work that was done by another contractor. Pete was very honest and gave me some good ideas and tips to try out. I really appreciated his quick response to my call and for him taking his time to come out and do a site inspection. I hope to use him in the future, it's hard to find honest people who give good advice.
Both Eddie and Uncle Lee were there most days doing hands on expert management. And Uncle Lee even enhanced the original landscape design to the better. And Marty and his crew did exceptional work, there every morning and doing a thorough clean up each afternoon. They used premium materials for all components and were very receptive to any feedback I gave them. Perhaps not the least expensive but afforded outstanding value. I am very happy with the end product and would certainly use them again.

It's June 30th 2025, and, the property management where I work has decided to cut/trim this really annoying pine tree. It's so messy, and, no body could want this particular tree gone MORE than I do. But, it may have nesting chicks, so, I asked the fellas about nesting season and they were so thorough,. They did not just continue cutting, they called their boss, I believe he may be the owner/operator? And he spoke with me personally, we discussed our mutual concern for all nesting bird species, and, he will have his guys check for nests. I respect this Tree Service and would refer them anytime. My 89 year old parents have been Dr Antrim's patients for the past five years. Dr Antrim has been wonderful and on more than one occasion she has come in to take care of their dental emergencies inspite of her office being closed! We are lucky to have such a caring dentist in our community.

I had no idea what I was walking into but from the ad that I saw on social media I was immediately intrigued and thought maybe just maybe this doctor could help me with treatment that would literally rely on my body rather than medication to help in my treatment. Meaning treating the underlying cause rather than put a Band-Aid on it.
Dr. Pluckman did exactly what he said he could do. He's extremely knowledgeable about the areas of the body that his practice is concerned with. Those are exactly the areas that I need help with and I brought my MRIs and he explained everything to me, and what those injuries mean for me at the age that I am and ongoing. He has machines in his office that are very large. Decompression machines. These are used for people who could have surgery but are looking for an alternate treatment beforehand to see if they can in any way relieve pain without having surgery.

Where do I even start…Angela is the best massage you will ever experience!!!!! She always starts the massage by asking what it is you would like to work on. If you are seeking relaxation you tell her or if you need her healing hands. I took that moment to tell her that my shoulder had been killing me where I can’t even put my bra on! And she got to work! Annha is an absolute angel in disguise. I had been putting off doing acupuncture for years for my chronic pain after several providers and other have recommended it. She makes you feel so at ease, even when your world seems to be folding in on itself. At times, I found myself zoned out post visit, which is excellent for those suffering from anxiety and racing thoughts. I highly recommend this amazing place. Just be aware that she is super booked because she is excellent, so be patient. It will be worth it!
