“In town for work and I love going to Aveda salons ..rarely do the disappoint. The salon is cozy located downtown Gilroy. One thing I look forward to at Aveda salons is the Tea (or wine) unfortunately I do not think they had any as it wasn't offered by receptionist when I arrived. I also look forward to the hand message, or aromatic scalp message with warm towel wrap...this tends to vary from salon to salon. I didn't experience any of these either. However BECKY my stylist was AMAZING! She listened to what I was looking for and far exceeded my expectations! She is why I am giving 4 stars.. had any of the other things happened this would be 5 stars for sure. Maybe it was just an off day. Either way I will return while In town simply to get an amazing cut with great conversation from BECKY :)“

They have a few car chairs, regular seats, several TV's and Nintendo Switch systems set up, and enough streaming services to entice any unruly child to sit for a cut.If you're worried about your little ones making it through a haircut, give these ladies a try.“

“I called day of asking if there was any room for me to get my hair cut and colored and was able to get an appointment off of someone's cancellation. Justina was very reasonable about pricing with me given my budget and talked with me about what I wanted so she could get it right. Love the way my hair turned out! I got blonde highlights and a trim and my hair feels so much happier :) Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a new local place in Gilroy to freshen their hair up :)“
“Original Cut hair salon is conveniently located off 101 south in Gilroy at Tenth St. at mini strip mall near Pizza Factory. Great locale one freeway exit from Gilroy's Premium Outlets. Stylist Rochelle did exemplary work as always. Has maintained my multi decades of coloring and chemically processed hairdos AND hair is still full, smooth, long and soft upon touch, not brittle , dry and short. Thank you for the healthy coif!“

“Brought my son in for a last minute haircut and was assisted by Marisol. My son previously received his haircut by her when his grandfather took him in for a last minute haircut. Marisol knows her work, is patient and detailed. This salon offers both men and women's cuts and hair styling services. They also offer money transfer services and sell hats and accessories. I'll definitely be coming back for my sons hair upkeep.“

I called and explained the situation and they got me in immediately (yay!) with Allison (not sure if I spelled that correctly). She gave me a great wash and blow dry.
