“Came in a bit ago (I’m so sorry, this is long overdue!) and got my hair cut by Sara.

I had done my research and was looking for somewhere that was going to have a stylist for the haircut that I wanted (lots of layering), and once I came across her page I knew that I wasn’t going to be disappointed.

Not only was my hair cut amazingly, but Sara was also so kind and friendly too. I hadn’t gotten my hair cut in well over a year, and the whole experience was truly great. I loved the environment as well, and the whole aesthetic of the salon. This was important to me because I have major panic and anxiety attacks, and I was afraid I’d feel uncomfortable, but Sara made sure that I felt as comfortable as possible the entire time.

“Poli is amazing, and this review is long overdue! I have been going to Poli at least a year now for balayage and keratin complex blonde treatments. She really takes pride in her work, and is a total perfectionist which I love because I am so picky about my hair. I have recommended her to others, and my whole family goes to her now! I have never been so happy with my hair. She has helped me find the best low maintenance solutions so I actually need to get my hair done less, which is important for me since I have actually been driving all the way from San Francisco for my appointments! They even shared their favorite scents with me, which was really cool. They didn’t mind me taking pictures or filming for my review either, which I appreciated. She made me feel seen, and she respected my decisions while also offering her expert-level insight and product suggestions (and she absolutely sold me on the Kentra Platinum dry texture spray!). “Jen is amazing! About to be 50 yrs old, never had extensions, never really considered it. But perimenopause has not been good to me. My hair is not only falling out, but the texture had gone to shit in the last few years. A couple months ago I realized I needed to do SOMETHING before my wedding. I came across a video on extensions, and the person reccomended natural beaded rows, and specifically finding a stylist who is certified. That is how I found Jen. So glad I made the investment. I seriously feel like a new woman. I actually hate doing my hair, but even walking out with it in braids I feel beautiful. Jen worked with me, put up with my indecisiveness, gave me great advice. I looked amazing on my wedding day, and a huge part of that is thanks to Jen. I drive an hour each way just to see her, she is that good!!“

“In town for work and I love going to Aveda salons ..rarely do the disappoint. The salon is cozy located downtown Gilroy. One thing I look forward to at Aveda salons is the Tea (or wine) unfortunately I do not think they had any as it wasn't offered by receptionist when I arrived. I also look forward to the hand message, or aromatic scalp message with warm towel wrap...this tends to vary from salon to salon. I didn't experience any of these either. However BECKY my stylist was AMAZING! She listened to what I was looking for and far exceeded my expectations! She is why I am giving 4 stars.. had any of the other things happened this would be 5 stars for sure. Maybe it was just an off day. Either way I will return while In town simply to get an amazing cut with great conversation from BECKY :)“
