“I was going to replace the old NEMA 10-30 outlet by my dryer with the newer 14-30 to connect my EV charger, but then I discovered my panel only had a 20 amp breaker not 30, so I called Silva. Eugene came that day and found that a previous electrician had tapped off it to wire 120v to some other circuits, so that's why it was limited to 20A. He took it all apart and rewired things to connect that circuit to another outlet, so the 14-30 would be dedicated to the 240v EV outlet in a new box with conduit run to a convenient place to put my charger, and he replaced the breaker. It's all nice and pretty now -- and correct. Eugene is very pleasant and works efficiently.“

“I’m a little late in leaving my review since I finally got settled into moving.

After interviewing and getting quotes from different companies, I settled with All City Electric. Other companies either told me what I wanted wasn’t doable or flaked on the scheduled appointment.

I told Jody I needed a Tesla Wall Mounted into the garage. it was a complicated process because of old panels but the work around was to make a sub panel dedicated to the EV Charger.

I asked if he can slide me in his busy schedule rather than waiting a week. He asked why I was in a hurry to get it done and I told him “I HATE CHARGING AT SUPER CHARGERS and I’m off on Thursday” …. Needless to say, Jody slid me in his schedule 2 days later instead on Thursday and got the job done in under an hour.
