The advisor I had was very caring, knowledgeable, patient, organized, detailed and helpful. He answered all my questions and did not rush me. The cost of the cemetery expenses is what I expected. “The Passalacqua Funeral Chapel helped me with the passing of my Mom. The gentleman I worked with was Joe Talken. Joe was helpful, kind, understanding and helpful every step of the way. He treats the passing of your loved one, like it's one of his own. One example: Joe helped me download hundreds of photos I had scanned into a slideshow on his day off. Their TV set up would not accept my thumb drive. Joe sat with me on a Sunday for 3 hours to download my presentation. “I have seen better, but on the bright side... This place has been an absolute blessing for my family and I!Before burying my significant other here, we shopped around, and felt hopeless after hearing some of the prices. This place has very fair prices.Another thing that I love about it is that I always feel as if I'm not even in Vallejo while on the property! It's on a busy street that we use to live near, and we passed it daily. When I'm inside, it's almost hard to believe that I'm on that same street. There are lovely, peaceful views from inside, and we couldn't be happier that we had been able to bury our loved one here! I don't think that I would've been able to handle having his cremated remains at home, and thanks to Sunrise cemetery's affordable price, I don't have to!We appreciate it! It doesn't look as fancy as some of the more expensive places, but It's not bad at all! You get what you pay for, so those who can afford it should perhaps use a place more to their liking, but if times are hard, and you would like to bury your loved ones in a clean, peaceful resting place. This place is great!“

The grounds need work. The owner has taken the time to make some huge changes. “Lovely views within Oakland with rolling hills and lush greenery. We drove much farther than I thought. Everything looked wellMaintain. The staff from the Chapel of the Chimes were polite and respectful. They helped with the burial, traffic control, and parking. It was a lovely service under the circumstances.“
“I can't say enough good things about this cemetery. I recently went to a funeral there and was extremely impressed. Everything ran like clockwork; the staff was present, available, but unobtrusive. They are all consummate professionals. I was awed by the beauty of the grounds. The office, chapel, hallways, bathrooms. . all beautifully appointed. The funeral ran smoothly, with no apparent glitches. It must be hard to work in a cemetery, with the emotions running high. But these folks are real professionals. A beautiful and peaceful place.“
