Ken Nation & Darren Carter played a huge role in helping my family find peace after my grandmother, the family matriarch, passed away unexpectedly on a Monday night in the ER.
That night, I called Sunset View for the first time and Darren walked me through the process of what happens to a body after dying in a hospital, and helped me coordinate an 11PM pick up of my grandmother from the ER. He was extremely responsive, patient, and compassionate, and helped me settle my grandmother at the funeral home.

My family and I have been caregiving for my mother for over a decade and it truly shattered our lives when she passed. I would like to give a special shout out to Darren C. Our family highly recommends Darren. He is incredibly kind, and we feel it was truly meant to be that he was our Funeral Director. He made the difficult process planning my mother's memorial so easy. He is simply amazing and truly treated us like family. He also gave us priceless advice and ideas that were so helpful. We will never forget Darrens unwavering kindness and are eternally grateful for him. Also, all interactions we had with the staff were lovely. The person working the front desk jumped out of their chair to help open the door, so I can carry flowers out. My family will continue to use Sunset Cemetary.
