“I met Shy randomly while I was walking to a muffler shop near Hansol Barber Shop. I booked an appointment and am beyond happy. I brought my girlfriend with me who is a little disabled and right off the bat Shy sat my girlfriend down in a barber chair to get her comfortable and brought over a little desk so my girlfriend could sit her bag and water. She offered her tea. Shy then showed me to my hair and asked how I wanted my haircut. She took her time and went little by little to make sure I was happy with the length. She was very knowledgeable,friendly, and a master with the clippers and scissors as well as detailed as she shaved some longer eyebrows and checked the nose hairs. After the cut Shy walked me to the sink for shampoo and conditioning. The hot towel and face massage was so relaxing. I knew instantly that I found my new barber. The shop was clean and the customer service was far beyond words could describe. The extra steps even as small as they can see make such a huge difference. The way Shy even assisted my girlfriend speaks so much about her amazing personality and care for the customers. I will definitely be a regular at Hansol Barber Shop. Thank you Shy.“

“Men Haircuts by Lilian is off Woodside Rd and Central Avenue in RWC in a Strip mall, between Dunkin' Donuts and 3 small restaurants. It is not a Salon, it is haircuts for Men, as the name clearly says, and it is by appointment only. This shop is very busy, so appointments in advance are necessary. However, she uses an app for the appointments, so it will go on your Google calendar, and send you reminders of your appointment date and time. Efficient!

Lillian is Vietnamese but speaks perfect English. She is very personable and very efficient in her haircuts. She has over 20 years experience and just celebrated 20 years at this location, her own shop.

There is nothing fancy here... no slick salon type decor, no fancy product displays, no barber chair shave and steam towel, no metrosexual eyebrow trim ( or doesn't promote that), not even a hair shampoo and head massage in a sink. (I told you this is not a salon!)

Nope! Just OG wood waiting chairs, and 1 client chair, one person at a time. She has a strong dedicated customer base, all men. They want a strait-forward hair cut the way they like, no nonsense, with pleasant conversation and the results they want, in short order.

Her dedicated clients and popularity confirm this approach, because this is not a cheap haircut by any means, this is not those discount chains that are mall adjacent with sports driven flat screens to distract you till your cut is over. There isn't a TV in the place! Nope, just a perky, personable professional that makes her clients keep returning like clockwork!

“The first time I came, I was nervous but had a great experience with Robert, who took the time to cut my hair well and was very nice to me. The second time I came, I went with Luis C., who, first of all, double-booked my appointment and made me wait 30 minutes while he cut someone else's hair. Then he took me on and proceeded to spend 15 minutes on my hair without fully understanding what I wanted. At the end, he demanded $ 65 for a 15-minute service, whereas online I booked a $40 haircut for a 30-minute service. He was also extremely rough with my hair and pulled a lot of hair out from my hairline, causing redness and burning + hairloss at my hairline. I explained to him that I booked the 40 dollars for 30 minutes, but he did not listen to me and forced me to pay 65 dollars. I really did enjoy Robert and wanted to give a 5-star review because Robert is a fantastic person and barber, but the terrible experience I had with Luis C. was unprofessional.“
