I'm a Bay Area native who has always believed that my hair was not my best feature.
From Downtown San Jose to Santa Clara's Koreatown, I have had my hair cut by a variety of stylists across the region at different price points.
I'm usually happy for a couple weeks. Then, the appeal starts to fade. I start fussing with my hair in the mirror or in the Zoom window.
Miguel has been my barber for over two years, and he is the first one who has given me the confidence that my hair always looks good.
I have none of the anxiety of sitting in the chair I typically have, and it's easy 30 minutes of cutting and conversation. Though the sports memorabilia on the walls aren't exactly my vibe, it doesn't matter to me when the haircut is supreme.
A big plus is that it's super easy to make an appointment with him through Booksy with a wide selection of time slots.
Even as my hairline recedes, I know Miguel will be there to make me look my best.“

Norm was so patient with him and took his time. It was $25 for his cut, which is significantly less than the other local salons are charging for kids. Plus they have all the same fun item: books, toys and huge screen tvs. There's also an ice cream shop next door which is just a bonus!“
