“I rarely write online reviews, but I felt the need to write this review. In June I had an episode where I went to visit a Chiropractor for an acid reflux issue (foolish of me) for just a consultation and the lady who was a substitute literally broke my back, in the name of just examining. I was in so much pain in my lower back, thighs and gluteal muscles that I could barely walk. My doctor suggested I go to physical therapy, after two unsuccessful attempts, I came across Shalaka's website and called her immediately. My first session, I saw relief, by 5th session I was walking pain free. She used ultrasound therapy that started healing my tightened muscles in the pelvic and gluteal area. Shalaka was patient and listened to my concerns, the main thing she pointed out was how I was still in shock and trauma from that event and discussed in great detail how I have to overcome it. She used manual therapy to ease my muscles too and that really helped me. I am glad I found her and I highly recommend her to women who have pelvic issues, issues with tailbone, gluteal muscles, as well as lower back and back issues.“

“After 9 years of searching for pain relief, I found Chris. I had a complex medial meniscus tear in 2016 and have had about 5-6 rounds of PT over the years. I was not able to be as active as I once was and the inability to ever bear full weight on that knee resulted in problems with flexibility & mobility. I was unable to play tennis as the twisting motions and running were too painful. After 8 sessions with Chris, I am able to bear full weight, play tennis, and walk again without pain! “Anyone with any exercise injury, especially chronic, read this. I’m mid 50’s, lifelong runner and cyclist, hiker etc. Started pickleball and stopped but ended up with repetitive elbow and shoulder issue likely due to throwing the chuckit for my dog; maybe carrying a shoulder bag and lifting heavy items out of my car daily. My regular chiropractor who I went to for over 20 years was amazing but this needed next level. A colleague recommended this practice and I am beyond stunned at the improvement. No more elbow pain, shoulder discomfort is massively reduced and basically gone. The laser therapy works wonders at this practice too. I can’t speak highly enough about the docs here who spend time manipulating (and almost massaging) the joints, working out the sites and recommending exercises to improve function. “Dr Huang changed my life. I broke my foot and was dealing with residual pain for over a year. I couldn't walk on it and it would keep me up in excruciating pain at night. The doctor said it was just arthritis from the after effect of the broken bone. I attempted everything to help it with even placing stem cell patches on the foot to try to heal it. I went to see him for my sleep apnea and breathing. He realized my foot was out of place at the first appointment.
Apparently my foot was out of place, he popped it back into place, and I no longer feel any pain. It is honestly a miracle and a blessing having met this man. I truly thought I was never going to walk on this foot again before meeting him
