I am a videographer and that means I have days where I spend twelve hours, on my feet, with heavy gear. I developed Planar Facetious, a tearing of the tendons in the foot arch, and those long days turned into deeply painful experiences. My GP doctor recommended a stretching device but it did nothing to prevent more painful tearing of the arch of my feet. Russel, the Shoe Doctor, was referred to me and he listened to me thoroughly, was clear on expectations, and very knowledgable on his job. The results were far exceeding my expectations. Great experience! I've had my custom orthotics for a little over 2 weeks and I can walk confidently again. Before I had a patchwork of different inserts due to scoliosis, misaligned hips, and pronation. Russell was patient and answered all of my questions from the initial scan to receiving my inserts. When I first put them on they were really comfortable and I didn't believe that he gave me the right pair because they felt so good. Now I know how my feet are supposed to feel in shoes when they're fully supported. I did have some minor muscle soreness as my legs and hips are still adjusting to the inserts as expected. I had the most amazing experience with Russel at the Shoe Doctor. After struggling with excruciating foot pain for years and trying various solutions, I was lucky to find Russel. He used highly accurate foot scans and custom molded an insole that completely resolved my foot issues. For the first time in years, I could walk normally without any discomfort! What impressed me the most was Russel's dedication to his customers. Three months later, I encountered a few minor issues with the insole, and without hesitation, Russel saw me right away.
