“Came home late yesterday afternoon to my home a/c not working and the wifi thermostat screen blank. I tried troubleshooting myself but could not get things working. I contacted Basic Air around 7p expecting to leave a message and get a repair person out the next day, however the owner answered the phone and provided help. Although my call took him away from other things, he spent a good 30-min walking through the problem with me and helping me solve it on my own. The main unit must've had a small clog disallowing water to drain, and the emergency sensor shut the unit down due to water build up...as I learned it's supposed to do. Well, after a bit of coaching, a few tools and utilizing my shop-vac, I was able to clear the drain line and get things running again. The fix was rather simple and likely saved myself a few hundred dollars service expense. Thank you Basic Air for your exceptional level of customer service - They installed our complete a/c about 8yrs ago and came through nicely in this situation at an inconvenient time of the day. You guys are awesome!!!“
