“Love these ladies. Our school identified lice four weeks ago and notified a few families, we were not included in the notification and as one might imagine, people don’t realize that even if you don’t see lice the eggs could have already been laid and 10 days later another person and another person and a sibling then a teacher. It’s not a dirt thing, lice love clean scalps to feed on. A friend in our circle started feeling itchy, note only 50% of people with lice feel an itch - so we hired Pam to come check 15 people in our circle - 6 adults and 9 kids. We identified 4 kids and 2 adults that needed egg and lice removal. Some had it since the school notified people (but this family was not notified, the school might not have realized that these kids see one another outside of school even though not in the same class). Kids want to show one another something and their heads are close together and a lice crawls from one strand of hair to another- they don’t jump, they don’t fly, they don’t travel on animals- they just crawl from one strand of hair when two heads are together reading a book or watching an iPad, or on a strand of hair that comes out when brushed and then that brush touches another head. We need to be open, notify one another and reduce the stigma- Pam is the key to that!! She is a mom, her and Diana are calm, informative and gentle with the families. “We were referred to Derek by a church friend (Lilly). My wife called and he immediately took the information for placing my mother in law. Derek escorted us to 3 properties on a Wednesday. As soon as we left the 3rd facility, my wife decided to go with the first one. She called Derek immediately and he said he was happy and he thought it was the best facility he has seen in a while. He knows the owners ( both RN's ) and most of the staff. He is truly professional and expert in his field. Elderly and Care and placement and his expertise. “I can't say enough about this company. My dad has been in and out of the hospitals for the past 8 months and after his initial discharge, we were assigned to a care provider based in L.A. by the care facility. They were always either late or miss the appointments and my Dad situation got worse under their care to a point that had to go back to the hospital. By chance and through a 3rd party, I was referred to this company. After switching to Unified Care, I could not believe the difference between the service they offered compared to the previous one. From day one, one of their Nurses, (Mrs. Manijeh) rightfully diagnosed (later verified by the doctor) that a back wound he had been treated for, was the wrong diagnosis for that wound. It took one visit from her versus 4 months under care of the other company's nurse. After that, the other nurses, Mrs. Mehry and specially Mrs. Mahin who has been attending to his post-surgery wound vacuum and is getting better every day. She even came on the Memorial day holiday, because she did not want to miss his routine change of his wound. This company and their staff are like angels That I needed to help me with my Dad's situation. I should also mention the administrator person, Mrs. Shohreh; who is always great and pleasant and arranges all the appointments without any hassle. Something I never experienced with the other company. If you are looking for a professional and reliable Home health services, don't waste your time by going anywhere else. This comes from my painful and long experience with other company.“
