11879 Kemper Rd STE 6, Auburn“Dr. Ingman took the time to perform a very thorough eye exam, addressing all my concerns and explaining everything clearly.
Candi "office staff" was friendly and accommodating, making me feel comfortable throughout the appointment.“
“I have been going here for 10+ years and always have had a wonderful experience here. I trust Dr. Hansen. He now has 50 years experience in the business. The front staff is always very sweet and helpful. They have never made a mistake with my prescription and are always very easy to contact. Unfortunately, they are closing in the next month for Dr. Hansen's retirement. I will miss him, the staff, and the experience of coming here so much! Thank you Dr. Hanson and happy retirement!“
“Very kind staff. Got me in with a rushed appointment for an eye infection. Dr. Paragas was very kind and gentle, especially compared to the other optometrist that I tried before. She took the time to explain what was happening for me and answered all of my questions. Would highly recommend.“

52 College Way, Auburn“After our optometrist retired, my husband and I reviewed the options available in Auburn. We wanted to continue with someone that could provide a personal connection- not a chain or high volume “Business“ . We both saw Dr Barnes at CK Vision.
Amazing experience for both of us. She listened to concerns, was professional and answered questions. We were both very satisfied with the glasses we received.“

“You know that feeling when walking into a business and instantly knowIng you're found a good thing without yet knowing you've found a good thing?
Well here you are and in that spirit, Cool Optometry ups the ante even further: You have come into a GREAT thing.
Now I'm a rather basic average person, nothing particularly standout about me and certainly far far away from a MENSA membership. There is one thing, however, that history has shown me to approach expert on and that lone thing is the ability to see the subtle and appreciate the many fine details that roll up into a larger, wonderful picture and how thosee assembled qualities work together beautifully in said creations.
Those details keep my mind occupied while visiting the folks here.
Firstly: The most important person in this small business might actually not be the Doctor; even tho he is also awesome. Rather, the first person to greet you sets the initial tone for your entire experience. And each time I have arrived, one of three of these genuinely kind people have greeted me warmly and provided assistance. Arrive a bit early and study them; their words are not scripted like an annoying chain place that dictates all communication to a factor of cheese but rather carefully chosen to guide your interactions with grace and real, genuine kindness. You can't fake this folks and honestly, it's so rare to find anymore that it triggers me to write the rare positive review because let's be truthful most people will write negative reviews before positive ones. We often ignore the positive and 'celebrate' the negative. Nothing negative here and that, Cool people, is remarkable.
Ok so now onto the Doctor: Everytime I visit, I wonder if Dr. Riggio is like Canadian or something. The man is so genuinely nice you have to think in some way he cannot be your typical aloof, slightly jaded and generally detached dude who was raised here. He speaks in terms we all can understand without an advanced degree, is kindly honest and - here is his killer a-game - ACTUALLY listens actively, hears your thoughts and then provides you the pro/con expert facts about those expressions without being an arrogant equine posterior. That is an especially rare quality within the profession and likely is part of the reason why your initial experience up front goes so predictably well: One can fake it once but fake never lasts or is consistent. Cool Optometry is Consistent and Consistently Real.
Support this fine local business or, if like myself, support this business with your 40 minute drive. Yeah, I could find another place 5 min away probably. But I won't do that. Cool Optometry is stuck with me.
Can't say enough good things. I think you will too.
Thank you for reading my happy rant. Blessings....MM“
