“We recently had our roof replaced by Dowd roofing. It was a complete tear off of shake roofing and composite material on top. New plywood was needed to be put down with a complete new roof installed. Dowd Roofing completed the job in two days. Very professional and clean at all stages. I went with Barron Roofing. Being retired from construction I know it's not just what the finish looks like, but what is underneath. Nothing stands without a good foundation.They answered all my questions about materials, procedures, scheduling, put it in writing and kept to it. “I wanted to wait until everything was settled with my newly renovated roof to write this review. After a couple of rain pours throughout the month I've had no issues with leaks which goes to show that Parkside Roofing did the job right, at a great reasonable price compared to other contractors out there that try to nickel and dime you. Even though the overall process took some time from start to finish the communication was average when it came to being more transparent with how things were going which is why I rated a 4 Star Versus a Perfect 5 but hopefully they improve upon this. The craftsmanship as well was rated a 4 since I'm pretty picky when it comes to detail. I would strongly encourage people to reach out to Parkside Roofing if you're looking for a roofing job that will fit your budget.“

“Ray and his crew did a wonderful job on my new roof on my rental house. He was easy to communicate with and he sent me photos on the progress. I can tell he takes pride in his work. He commenced on time and completed the job as promised and even moved the date up and came on Saturday due to the unexpected and critical Hurricane Hilary which struck on Sunday which was a hugh relief and allowed me to sleep at night knowing my Tenants would be safe. His price was very good and beat out the competition. I had to wait to find out how much the lumber charge for damaged lumber would be and found his price was good. He even picked a nice color flashing for the facia. He did a great job on the garage facia that had become a problem and it looks very nice. I will definitely give Ray a call when it is time to reroof my son's house which he recently purchased. Ray was accommodating when I wanted to upgrade the roofing shingle to another manufacturer which was on back order and had to rescedule and wait for the product to arrive rather than try to talk me out of it and move forward with what he had available. That to me is customer service at it's best.“

Each stage of the re-roofing was completed exactly as Jake had outlined in the original quote. The end result was the wonderful transformation of our old house with the new colour bond roof matching the window frames and fencing.“
