Dr. Young helped to even out my bite and she also explained what went wrong with the initial work that was done and how it could be corrected. “I had to have 3 cavities drilled and filled with dr. K. I have a very pronounced phobia of needles and so the process was bound to be very traumatic as it required several anesthetic shots in my gums. Dr. K knew this and so he took extra care to make sure I was as comfortable as possible; we talked about the procedure and he was communicative and checked in with me a lot. He told me several stories of his time in Vermont to try and relax+distract me. I have never had such an attentive doctor. As far as super unpleasant dental procedures go, this one was as bearable as possible. I am super grateful for his willingness to put in the extra work to make dental procedures much less scary. In follow-up fillings and similar procedures, he has handed me a mirror so I could have the option to see what was going on, if I wanted, and also always tried to do it without anesthetic shots when possible.In terms of dental hygienist, Mai is great. I like that she is a pleasant conversationalist but also very straight to the point. She lets me pick what toothbrush color I want :)“
