“My dog is a patient of Dr Hedden and when my dog was not herself, we called central animal hospital and were able to get her in for an appointment the next day (they actually had a cancellation and could have seen her that day, but we were not available at the time to bring her in) Although I had suspicions she (my dog) had something caught in her throat, over the phone the symptoms I described made the doctor think it could possibly be kennel cough, but after bringing her in and upon further assessment, Dr Hedden was concerned it was something more and wanted to have lab work, and XRay for further evaluation and diagnosis. Because she had not eaten or drank over the past day+, she was showing signs of dehydration and needed IV fluids as well. She was “hospitalized” for the morning and afternoon with the previously mentioned tests and IV fluids and results came back with pancreatitis. She’s now home with us, still not fully recovered (this all took place on Monday/Tuesday, and it is now Thursday), but at least she is excited for walks again, eating/drinking, and pooping! Her energy levels are still low, but she is still going through her course of GI meds and anti-nausea meds. I’m so grateful for the staff and doctors who took care of my dog with prompt treatment and with the wonderful care they provided!“

“Our two dogs get very excited when we pull up to Dr. Dave's. We primarily use the place for multiple overnight stays for our two dogs. When we pick them up, they are healthy, no injuries, and correct weight. The folks there are good about giving scheduled medication. The prices are reasonable, especially when vouchers for overnight stays are purchased a couple dozen at a time.“

The doctor was down-to-earth, straightforward, and transparent with no pressure for unnecessary labs or workups. My dog was treated promptly and sent home with medication the same day.
The appointment was simple, quick, and honest. I will definitely be coming back.“

“This is a follow up from our earlier post with our Newfoundland dog Cosmo. Today we brought in the little Newfoundland dog Casper. He's only 155 pounds. You can take everything I said in my previous post which is perfectly true and they did it again with Casper. This time he came out with a cute purple bandanna and a well executed full service grooming. He looks great and just in time for more hot weather. “We just went to Lush Spaw for the first time today. Elena did such a great job with our Cavachon! The whole experience from booking the appointment online to the check in was easy. They require proof of Rabies vaccination which you can send via text , super simple. Elena took the time to understand how we wanted Biscuit's haircut to be , including the length & overall look we were going for. In 2.5 hours , Biscuit was ready!! The Lush groom Biscuit had today was great. He looked like a million bucks & so happy. Elena let us know how Biscuit did which was also nice. Elena is awesome & so is the front staff. “Our usual groomer, Alice, no longer works here so we decided to give another groomer at this location a chance. We asked for a groomer who would be patient, gentle and kind with our anxious dog. They set us up with Mary who was amazing! She is so sweet to our goldendoodle and really cares about getting the cut you want for your dog. We have gone to her three times now and our dog , Sasha, always looks great when we pick her up. We have many people at the dog park asking where we go to get her grooming done and even get compliments a month after her cut. It grows out so well! We highly recommend Mary. “I have been taking Gizmo and Willow, 2 yorkies, here since they were puppies. They're now 10 and 12 years old. I have never had a bad experience here. I have tried other "upscale" shops, but they were overpriced and some didn't even bathe the kids. One place was booked out 6 months! That is not acceptable. Alum Rock Groomers is my go to vendor..“
