“I love this place! I am a first time pet owner to a golden retriever. Dr. Marshall was very caring and answered all my questions and concerns. My puppy was very sick and Dr. Marshall was amazing at following up and making sure he was doing good or progressing. He gave me all sorts of options to figure out what was best for my puppy. He was very sincere and not at all did I feel like this place wanted to take my money. Very affordable and the receptionists/staff are very friendly. My dog gets excited to see them.“

“I came here after an absolutely awful experience at Southern California Animal Hospital, and they graciously accepted me and my cat last minute for much needed xrays. I live over an hour away from SCAH and Adam's, and I very much appreciated them seeing me, especially when it was close to their lunchtime and my cat's meds had worn off, so she was SPICY. “Via Verde Animal Hospital was recommended to me by a good friend, and I had to take my dog in today because she had an issue with her eye. Everyone was so nice with my dog and treated her very well.
They gave me their recommendations of what I should do. I think I found my new vet, I was going all the way to Alhambra from West Covina, but I think I'm going to switch over to Via Verde because I have a few cats at home, so lots of animals that need attention from time to time. “I came in with no patient history for my cat needing emergency care. They ultimately couldn’t help me, but that’s not their fault—they just weren’t equipped for what I needed.
They still dropped everything and took my kitty back immediately to do what they could, they still showed concern and compassion, and they helped set me up to go over to an animal hospital equipped to do the services I needed. “In the mornings, there is a checker assisting in the self check out. No checker register is open no matter how long the self check line is. Finally, after several customers asked any employees about getting another register open and we're told they couldn't open one, magically, after more than 10 minutes and 10 people waiting in self check out, a register was opened.“

Their annual check-up was fast, thorough, stress-free, and pleasant thanks to the front office staff, the nurse, and the vet! We also really appreciated the option to come early in the morning before work started. Our kitties were so comfortable around everyone and were very much loved and admired in return. “Brought my boy in he needed a same day appointment they were fast, friendly, took my budget into consideration and made a plan to do what we could at the cheapest cost. They didn't judge me for that decision like some vets do. And didn't push any further that I needed to spend more. I'm really happy with my outcome, although expensive, what vet isn't right? Also the place itself is lovely, it's clean, nicely decorated, chairs in our room so we were comfortable the whole time. I'd recommend this place if you need an urgent appointment.“

“Staff is very friendly, very professional and so helpful. I really like this vet. I’ve taken my dog to several in the first couple of years I had her, but now I only come here. They’ve taken me in as a walk in when I didn’t have an appointment. Only thing I would change, I’d appreciate if they would email me a reminder of when her shots are due. I once took my dog to a vet hospital during the pandemic cuz she was having an allergic reaction to a bee sting. To this day, they still send me vaccine reminders and birthday wishes for my dog Jackie.“

We heard great things about Amar Glen and gave them a shot. Glad we did! The entire staff truly cares for pets. They act quickly, gently and efficiently to provide care and assessment. Our lil guy got updated vaccines, bloodwork, an EKG and a really great full physical in record time. He wasn't panting or freaking out. He was incredibly cooperative. I've never seen him like that at the vet. We'll be taking him back for additional services in the near future. Thanks to the great team at Amar Glen!“

“Dr Yau has been the very best vet to our last two German Shepard dogs! I was referred to her by a rescue about 12 years ago, and she diagnosed and saved the older German Shepherd we had when our local vets were not really identifying the issue. When we got our next little guy and it was clear he had something serious going on, Dr. Yau was able to give us a diagnosis and treatment that has kept him in great shape and given him quality of life his whole life. She and her staff truly care, and she is kind, very thorough and straightforward. We appreciate her and her team so much, it's like a breath of fresh air to have personal treatment from someone you trust.“
