I’m deeply grateful to everyone at Animal Hospital of Walnut for the care and compassion they showed my beloved cat, Trico (楼宝). Today, I received a beautiful card and his paw prints in the mail. Every doctor who had treated him, along with several technicians, took the time to write a personal message by hand. I was incredibly touched.

Losing Trico has been heartbreaking, but knowing that the people who cared for him also remembered him with such kindness means more to me than I can express. This was my first time taking my 7-year-old Corgi, to the Animal Hospital of Walnut for a respiratory issue. They used to be on Carrey Road but have moved to a new, very clean, and nice location on Valley Blvd. When I called, they were able to give me a same-day appointment right away. Dr. Chao was incredibly gentle and caring. She gave my dog a thorough exam and reassured us that he looked good overall, aside from his abnormal breathing. She recommended trying Loratadine first. I really appreciated that the office staff didn't pressure us into expensive X-rays or blood tests right away, though they did safely suggest them if his condition worsened. Love the staff here and the facilities are nice and clean. My dog is always treated really well and they're very transparent about pricing and what you're paying for. 10/10 will always recommend.

Side note: not sure if this is common practice but they also have rooms specifically designated for dogs or cats. I'm very allergic to cats so this provides a lot of peace of mind when I'm there. To clarify, the lobby is open so that's the only time I might come into contact with a cat.
