Such a nice experience here. Well taken care of and wonderful staff. Jan and Sekai were so kind and helpful. Mackey went in for a cyst removal and checked for any issues. He came out calm cool and collected. Lol
About San Gabriel Animal Hospital
San Gabriel Animal Hospital is a local veterinary clinic that provides quality care and services for pets in the community. The staff is described as very helpful and caring, taking great care of the animals. Customers highlight the dedication of the veterinarian, Dr. K, who is praised for his considerate approach and commitment to the best interests of the pets he treats. The doctor was very gentle with a kitty who is aging and has multiple fur knots that need to be removed. They did bloodwork and then called with the results. San Gabriel Animal Hospital is not a fancy place and you will have to wait a long time, but he is worth the wait. He is a to the point vet who doesn't run a bunch of unnecessary dogs. He helped a dog through cancer surgery and chemo and years later, his passing. He also takes care of his two other dogs. The prices for their procedures, medications, and overall care are noted to be very reasonable, often much lower than other nearby animal hospitals. Their prices are fair and reasonable. It only cost $300 for both kittens, and the doctor only did what was necessary to quickly find the cause and treat it. He didn't beat around the bush to waste money.

We are so grateful for San Gabriel Animal Hospital. We first found them during an emergency when our dog was hit by a car (he's all better now!) and they have since become our family vet. The prices are incredibly reasonable and we love supporting a local business that isn't owner by private equity. There may not be the frills of a larger or chain vet, but the quality of care can't be beat.

Dr. K and staff are the best! I came here because my vet told me to find another vet who can do an ultrasound for my cat's problem. Now, I ended up switching vets to Dr. K. I'll be taking all 4 cats and husky to Dr. K now.
From my experience with other vets and Dr. K, I can tell that Dr. K really cares about the pets, and it's not just another dollar sign in his eyes. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things to you. I don't feel rushed when I'm talking to him. Other vets I've talked to, I feel that they just want to give my pets treatment, and want me to leave asap so they can get to the next patient/$$$ in their pockets. I did not feel this at SGAH.
