From the moment I arrived, he made me feel comfortable and at ease. His technique was both intuitive and skillful, targeting areas of tension I didn’t even realize I had. The pressure was just right, and I could feel the benefits almost immediately. I left the session feeling significantly more relaxed and rejuvenated, with a noticeable reduction in muscle stiffness. Aki's expertise truly shines through, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a healing, restorative massage. I'll definitely be returning!“
“Ronda is fantastic! She was able to help me with chronic spinal injury pain that other therapists could not help. She has so much experience with her skills that she can feel the body and know what needs to be worked on. Her kindness and knowledge was a true gift in my life.“

My wife and I have tried many different massage therapists over the years and are very thankful we found Taylor. He's truly the best. We both see him regularly for therapeutic bodywork -- he is incredibly strong, understands body mechanics and leverage, and knows how to find knots you never knew existed and really get in there. The fact that he's also funny, interesting, and can hold a conversation is a bonus!“
“I moved from out of state, and was looking for a good Therapist. I am so glad my daughter told me about Yoko. Now I am a happy regular client. She listens to my need and gets wonderful results. The price is very reasonable.“

His practice feels partially informed by the many years he's spent in practice and study-- while also guided by his wonderful instincts. He is thoughtful and has a gentle touch. I am slowly healing my chronic low back/ hip pain through work with Alexis. I am very grateful to have found this practice!“

1225 Solano Ave suite c, Albany“Rachel Alkire -- what a gem!! She is one of the most genuine, caring, generous, and thoughtful practitioners I have come across in the medical/healing space. At 38 weeks pregnant I had an acute/urgent issue and even though I hadn't seen her for an appointment in many months, she immediately responded to my message with a phone call and provided a wealth of sage knowledge and advice. Both her kindness and her holistic medical wisdom shine through when you interact with her. Highly recommend.“

1225 Solano Ave Suite B, Albany“Laura took such good care of our family during our postpartum period after we welcomed baby #2 to the family. She helped take care of all of our family (including our toddler and dog), allowing me to get the rest I needed. Her expertise as a lactation consultant also made a huge difference in the early days for our breastfeeding journey. I am so grateful to Laura for helping start us off on the right foot as a family of four.“

We did the Neurofeedback machine for about a month and it definitely helped his recovery. We're back for round 2 b/c he recently suffered a concussion and is still dealing with symptoms. Definitely worth it!“

405 Kains Ave, Albany“I've seen Tank several times and will say that considering them simply an "acupuncturist" is a total undersell. They are a healer that's very passionate about the various modalities of Chinese medicine including acupuncture. In fact, our first session was mostly a qigong session. I had to experience it to believe that I could actually feel them moving qi against me without actually physically touching me, and afterwards I was able to confirm that what I sensed (eyes closed) was what they were doing. It was totally wild. Besides their skills and knowledge, Tank is just such a good listener. I love the first part of our sessions because they really ask good questions and are completely present for the conversation. I can tell they really want to know the whole context to help a person. One thing that Tank is especially good at is being sensitive to sensitive people. I get cold easily and am sensitive to noise, and every time they get the ultra-crinkly mylar blanket to warm me up (it's very light so it doesn't disturb the needles, but also super noisy), they put it on me with exquisite care to ensure the noise isn't detracting from the experience. That is just how they do things - with exquisite care. Highly recommend going to see Tank for holistic care through the lens of Chinese medicine!“

1532 Solano Ave, Albany“Julia is one of the best masseuse I have ever had! I initially was introduced to her at my chiropractors office after a terrible car accident.
I have been going to her since 2019, and she's super consistent! I like that she touches base with you before, during and after the massage as well. Her approach is tailored to your needs, and I almost always fall asleep or go into a twilight every time she works on me. I would highly recommend her to anyone.“

1488 Solano Ave, Albany“I’ve been to Thailand and these ladies are on the same level as what you get there. Just incredible. I’d go here when my back was in shambles (specify what you want and don’t want before the massage if you have an injury), and I still come as often as I can. They’re all great, best massages I’ve ever had in the US have been here!“

1402 Solano Ave suite 1, Albany“I work night shifts and constantly deal with stiffness in my upper and mid-back, neck, and shoulders…sometimes it’s painful just to turn my head. Every massage I receive from Joyce makes a noticeable difference in my body: I feel lighter, more mobile, my posture improves, chest feels open as if a ton of weight has been lifted off my body. She has magic hands!
She works slowly and intentionally on every knot, restoring mobility and stretching where it’s needed, which really helps the results last.
Sometimes the deep tissue work can feel intense, but the relief afterward makes it absolutely worth it. I often say I feel like I’ve been ironed out like a wrinkled shirt and I always get my most restful sleep and wake up feeling pain free next day.
She also gives simple stretches to do at home, which really has helped me and seem to prolong the relaxation effects between sessions..
On top of that, I really appreciate her communication style. She encourages you to speak up and point out exactly where you need more attention, which is an uncommon thing to find in massage therapists. Leaving with your muscle tension unresolved never happens with her.
Her booking system is also easy and stress free, and she’s quick to respond if I need to join the waitlist.“

Dr. Jen is compassionate, professional, and incredibly thorough. I really appreciate her holistic approach to care — she takes the time to listen and address the whole person, not just the symptoms. I always leave feeling great. Highly recommend!“

“More than just a stretching lab, it is a skilled community dedicated to vitality. For me it has proved essential to maintaining good circulation, balance and mobility. I found it more useful than my medical physical therapy sessions. Assisted Stretching is an inspiring approach to healing that works. Highly recommended.“
