She was very knowledgeable in how to properly care for it and she gave me all the tips I needed to know! Nelly gave my hair layers and a trim then we proceeded to get the perm done. It came out great and it looks very close to the reference photos I showed her! I would most definitely recommend ⭐️“

“I had my hair braided recently at SGS and they did a fantastic job. Byrisha was the stylist that did my hair and she was great. This is only my second time getting my hair braided and both she and Tina, the owner, were very good about answering all of my questions. The location is perfect, right there at South Shore, so it's easy to get to with plenty of parking. The salon space was comfortable and they were always checking in to see if I wanted anything to drink or snack on. I love having such a convenient spot to get my hair braided. “I went in with a few muscle aches. I left feeling amazing and extremely relaxed. I tried a two hour massage for the first time (didn't know that was even available). I don't think I'll ever go back to a one hour or even one and a half hour massage. Wow. What a difference that extra half hour made. I got checked in and taken to my room very quickly. Then Shelly worked wonders, while respecting the parameters I put down on my check-in form and also occasionally checking in with me during the massage to make sure I was okay with what she was doing. “I was in need of a quick haircut and was trying to look for a local salon close by. I stumbled upon New Image Beauty Salon and gave them a call. Ling picked up and quickly set up my appointment.

I was greeted the moment I walked in and was guided to my chair. We started off with a quick consultation to go over what I was looking for and showed some inspo pictures. Ling got the idea, confirmed the style, and went to work. I washed prior to coming and only got a haircut.

I have a lot of thin hair and normally get layers to frame my face and bring volume. She chopped about 4-5 inches and also cut curtain bangs for me (not pictured). She’s listened to my requests attentively and adjusted when needed. My appointment lasted about an hour.

Ling was so helpful throughout the whole process. From setting up my appointment to cutting my hair and giving advice, it was overall a very pleasant experience and I will go back when I am in need of a trim.

Her husband, Eddie, works with her and cuts hair as well. I told my husband to go get his hair cut here too!“
