In the past I've always gotten glasses at the doctors office, but our insurance didn't cover that so we went to the Westlake Village Target Optical for my son's new glasses. Everyone who helped us was great. They are a nice, helpful and through. While I'm not a fan of paying for extra insurance I did this time, because they are for an active kid who wears them during PE. Well guess what, they broke and it was so easy and cheap to replace them. Excellent customer service, highly recommended.“

“"I can see clearly now...." No really, I can finally see clearly now! So here's the deal, and I'm being really serious here, I had been having an issue with my eyesight for a couple of years now. I had another eye doctor who was not treating my issue correctly. My eyes were constantly red, irritated and then my eyesight was blurred. So blurred that it has affected my every day life. I couldn't drive. I couldn't get any work done on my computer. It was awful. And then, the heavens opened up and I was introduced to Dr. Carrie Kubota and her incredible staff. From the moment I contacted their office, I could tell they really cared. They were able to squeeze me in as a first time patient. And when I left Dr. Carrie Kubota's office for the first time, I cried. She immediately saw the issue..... turns out I have three major issues. The doctor decided to tackle the first part, which is the severity of the blurry eyes and the irritation. As I write this review, I'm still in the process of correcting the irritation and the blurriness. Turns out the blurriness is caused from extreme dry eyes. She has a great solution for my dry eyes. And I should be able to start those treatments soon. The last issue, I simply need glasses. I have already recommended Dr. Carrie Kubota to many friends and colleagues. I am confident that you will love her as much as I love her. Simply stated Dr. Carrie Kubota cares deeply about her patients. And now, drum roll please, "I can see clearly now...."“

It actually felt like he cared and want to make sure the patients are educated on their eye health. The receptionists were very friendly as well. They were helpful and understanding of my budget for lenses and frames, didn't try to push for anything more than what I needed. Great experience!“

“I have been going to Family Optometry in Simi Valley for many years. I am highly satisfied. The people who work there are considerate, competent, professional and always helpful. Todd knows his business and is extremely good at it. Dr. Freeland... well I cannot begin to sing his praises enough. He is an absolutely wonderful human being and, as far as I'm concerned, a Godsend. I don't want to go anywhere else for my routine eye care and I cannot give them more than 6 stars but that's how good I feel about them.“

The service was good but I wanted to add anti-glare I was quoted $120 for that then when I went to close the order the optometrist said he needed an additional $160 for that feature so the quote went from $120 to $280 just for anti-glare
I could go to America's Best for that kind of features for less money“

“The staff were amazing and the doctor was incredibly understanding with my disability and a true professional. The office staff had nice stock options for frames although only "black" options were prevalent. They worked so hard and finally found a larger frame for my big head that was not black. After over an hour searching, I was impressed and grateful.“

“I had a great experience at the America’s best and Simi Valley. Dr. Wallace was superb. She’s highly intelligent, sweet and kind. Very professional was so gentle with me took her time to explain everything. I really felt like I got an excellent exam. Gisele and Katia who work in the main Store suite as pie so helpful took their time didn’t make me feel rushed. I would highly recommend having your eyes examined at this location.“
