We had such a fantastic experience with BC Granite & Quartz Countertops. Ours was definitely not a simple install — a renovation with tricky angles, tight corners, and a countertop with lots of veining to match. They absolutely nailed it. The joints are so clean they’re almost invisible, and the final product looks flawless.

Kelly and Phil make a good team, with both solid technical skills, super creativity, and impeccable taste. They are people of vision who can see possibilities that you might not have considered, and they have the knowledge and resources to turn visions into reality. They can help source materials and often can recommend suppliers and trades that have both expertise and good pricing. Kelly and Phil are good communicators and easy to work with; they are also just very nice people. Their business is a great asset to Vancouver Island and I am glad they have chosen to move here. Lillyanna is an incredible stylist. My once curly hair had been straight for many years due to the haircuts I had received. After only one cut my curls are back. She knows how to compliment your face with the cuts she gives. I highly recommend Lillyanna.

I was looking for a place in my new Qualicum, BC area and didn’t have easy access for having immediate transportation, as I can’t drive, it was a bit of a tricky place to find. When I finally found this place, and go the services I wanted, it was done to my liking. She did a good job, but I think if I had to come back for Something else to do for my hair, I will have to be careful because for me things in comparison to my living in Alberta for so many years, that this may be done not as often as I would like. As for the service she gave to me - I’d recommend it because for the price I’d paid I would come back if and when I’d need it. Good haircut.
We have used Peter and his team Qualicum Beach movers for several moves ? Peter and his team always arrive on time !! Everything is carefully packed up using protective blankets and tape. Truck broke down Christmas eve almost at closing. They scanned the truck for what the issue was. Notified me. Parts ordered and truck repaired first thing the following Mon. Great shop.
Susan has been amazing to work with. I started a bathroom renovation thinking it would be fairly straightforward, but we quickly discovered the toilet had been leaking and the project became much bigger than expected. Susan was there every step of the way helping guide me through it, answering questions, and making sure we found the right solutions. Renovations can be overwhelming when surprises pop up, but having someone like Susan in your corner makes all the difference. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to help truly stood out. I’m incredibly grateful for everything she did and would highly recommend her and her team.

We had a guys golf trip to the island and had the privilege to play here. We were happy with the course but disappointed with the whole construction process of the new clubhouse. We didn't stay for a drink or snack after due to the noise.
Next year should be better with the new clubhouse.

I became a patient of Liz Gilmour's about 9 years ago when she was still in Parksville. I can honestly say she quite literally saved my life, there's no DR or anyone else I'd recommend over Liz! Time is never a factor in an appt w her, she is so thorough and available any day at any time when needed,and she has proven that to me more than once!
These people treat you like family, so kind. Very clean and sanitary practices and spaces. Don’t get to come often but they still remember you when you’re in town and make you feel welcome!
