I called Glacier Ind. Parksville, BC. on Dec. 9/2024 to come and check out my fire place ,as it was not working. Steve was at my door within the hour ,checked everything out, even cleaned the fireplace glass. He had my fire place up and running in short order. Hank's Gutters is the best! Mark and Nadine run an efficient and friendly business with excellent service, prompt follow-up, and fair pricing. Without intending to, we had occasion to test their problem-solving abilities as well. When we had our balcony replaced, Mark temporarily removed the gutters around it and then put them back up, creating a new custom downspout to cope with an unexpected change in the geometry of the structure. A few weeks later, the summer drought broke and rain came down behind the newly-attached gutter--again a consequence of the new angles of the balcony. Mark came the very same day, figured out how to solve the problem, and did it on the spot. With good humour and without any further charge. I would recommend them any day!
The best! Helped us out in a jam with some toilets and the next day came over in ten minutes and completely hooked up and wired and installed our dishwasher. Amazing service and thanks again!
Ron has been a pleasure to work with. He switched the drawer slides on our deep kitchen drawers (to full extension and soft close) and built us a skookum pull-out for holding trays etc. Highly recommend.
We were very pleased with the work done by Nicki and crew. The final product is very satisfying, and the experience of going through design, tear down, reconstruction and finishing was very smooth. In particular, the main man installer/carpenter, Thierry was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful, as well as Vicky the second carpenter/installer.
An example of the kind of response they provided was when a cabinet door wasn't quite flat, Nicki was on the phone letting us know that that door would be replaced. We had to go investigate to understand what the issue was because it was news to us!
We also had great experiences with the tradesmen that they brought in to manage counter-tops, electrical and plumbing issues. All in all a great experience and we've asked NIcki to refit a couple of closets.
The manager, Brad, was excellent – he always answered the phone properly and had superb workers. The workers who he hired for me, were both diligent and tidy.The carpentry, plumbing, electrical and installation were coordinated by Brad and it was so nice to go through what could’ve been a stressful situation without stress. Brad also came by to touch base with the workers and suggested solutions to make my kitchen both functional and beautiful. Brad cared that I light what was being done and I highly recommend him.
Dan & his crew worked their magic on our son’s house. It was probably the worst disaster you could imagine & when they were done you would not know it had ever looked bad. They did an incredible save of the house & I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We recently had kitchen cabinets made and installed by Current Millwork.Whitney, their designer and project coordinator, had some great ideas and was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to my many questions and always friendly yet professional in her responses.The cabinets were beautifully constructed and were delivered/installed within the timeline we had agreed. The installers, Dave and Nick, did a great job with the install and they took extra time to make sure everything was installed well. We had an issue with one of the after market inserts but Whitney, Dave, Nick and the rest of the team came up with a replacement that was even better than the original. Andrew and his crew removed several trees close to the house with absolutely no issues at all. They brought done a total of 10 trees and removed all the branches and leaves. Great job. I strongly recommend these guys for anything to do with trees.
Great company :)Two gentlemen came on a Monday morning, on time, did a nice job, were well priced and honest. My mum thought she needed more work done and was told, no, she was in good shape. Plus, they vacuumed all the crud out of the gutters..... not like the last crew (different company) that pulled it out by hand and chucked it on the lawn for my parents to clean up.... they said the did clean up, but they left a mess. Crystal Clean is great.

I went for my first pedicure at this salon. Pyint did an amazing job. I told her I have an ongoing issue with ingrown toenails and she knew immediatley what to do. It's obvious she really knows what she is doing !!! She is a great conversationalist as well.

Find and repair leak in garage We called a specific plumbing company and the truck that responded was Roto Rooter The technician was efficient and found the source of the leak and repaired a pinpoint leak in an old pipe in the wall next to the water heater. We we very pleased with the service until we received the bill which was outrageously excessive for the time spent.
