When I moved to Qualicum from England I was worried that It would take me a long time and trial and error to find a good hairdresser .But I was really lucky that and my first visit was to Borealis ! I have been there ever since ,cutting and colour experts I would recommend them to anyone .Five years of good experiences.
First stop on my returns to Qualicum Beach, and then again just before my departures, is always with Virginia at Borealis! Virginia understands immediately what colour and styling I want, and she has created such a glamorous salon. A visit is always an uplifting experience, and with Virginia I have the bonus of really interesting conversation too! Virginia always remembers details about my travels and my family. But most important and impressive of all, to me, is how Virginia also manages to take an active part in local business and community affairs and issues, and in particular you will know already that she is responsible for setting up not only the collection and distribution of Christmas gifts for children, but also the collection and distribution of weekend backpacks of food for children from poorer homes in the community.
