Great conversations and awesome cut with Daryl. It's his shop and he's the only barber so it was nice and quiet. He's usually a week to 2 weeks wait, so book your online appointment accordingly. Convenient parking out front.

Amazing!!! Darrel saved my week! Got a last minute job interview and needed a touch up. Darrel was able to accommodate and pumped me up mentally for the interview. He’s a great guy and has always done amazing work for the years I’ve gone to see him.

Daryl is hands down the best barber I've met. Hes been cutting my hair aswell as my son's since I can remember. Truly a gentle man. Polite, curtious and will accomodate in anyway he can as far as I've seen.Absolutely top notch barber and small business owner.5 stars.

The Cutthroat Barber is run by a local Cowichan Valley family. It is a modern barbershop that is based on the values and principles that old school traditional barbershops were built on - a fantastic haircut, a close shave, and great conversation. It's where locals come. Darrell is a two-time award winning barber - Barber of the Year at the BC Hair and Beauty Awards 2018 and 2019.
