“I have always had a deep-seated fear of acupuncture. Even though my brother experienced a miraculous recovery from potential paralysis thanks to this treatment, the thought of having needles inserted all over my body was daunting. “Sunday morning started feeling dizzy for no reason and could not drive. Soon become very nauseous and had to lie down all day. Two vomiting and diarrhea in the evening, still not able to get up even to drink water. Body temperature was normal so decided not to go Emergency. Called family doctor on Monday and diagnosed with possible bacteria infection but no medication to ease the symptoms except “drink electrolyte and rest”. Not sure what to say to my boss ?My wife forced me to give a call to Dr Shi who was recommended by a friend. I came in on Tuesday morning and my diagnosis was excessive heat qi 火气in my body.
