“I was new in town and decided to try Sun Lakes Hair Design, I wish I could remember the name of the stylist because she did a fantastic job on my fine hair. The salon had a friendly atmosphere. I'm getting ready to call them again this time for a cut and highlight.“

I literally think she took my face and gave it the most powerful gentle loving massage in the Facial that she gave me that ---I'm addicted. I used to get Massage once a month and I prefer this school to spend my pampering money. No need for Botox --fillers /-just give your face some love because Yasmin has that touch. “Best salon experience I’ve ever had – Allison is a miracle worker!

I made the mistake of coloring my hair at home, hoping for a light brown but ended up with nearly black hair. After trying multiple color removers, I was left with a mix of red and dark brown that looked uneven and damaged. I was nervous and desperate for help—and I’m so glad I found Allison at Saskia Salon!

“Took my daughter to get her hair cut and styled for the first time here and her experience and outcome was not good.

The stylist agreed to take steps as she cut away the length, but totally disreguarded and the cut looked nothing like the several pics my daughter showed the hairdresser. We are expecting a call from the owner or manager to dicuss the bad experience. The front counter staff was the only good experience when we arrived. They were very friendly.

8/22/2025 Update. My daughter called immediatley after the poor experience with the initial hairdresser and they set an appointment with the manager to repair and fix the cut. Once again the staff was very receptive, and the manager took her back to see what they could do. My daughter said the experience was a complete turnaround, and there was plenty of communication during the process. The manager had identified areas the previous stylist failed to address, and areas missed. This was a great recovery by the Madison Ave manager's abilities to recover a botched and complete failure from start to finish haircut by her employee. I applaud you for a great comeback story. I gave this place an updated 2 star, to a current 5, as it is a tough job to fix someone elses mess. I know the owners dad Bill and he is the reason I recommended this Madison Avenue initially. Super job!“

“Never again, will I go ANYWHERE but Jules to get my haircut. (It only took one minor inconvenience elsewhere?). Not only is she extremely educated in hair care, but she has such a passion for the industry and it shows! The way she transformed my hair from dull and lifeless to this silky, dimensional masterpiece?? Unreal. Not only is she a magician with color (after I boxed dyed my hair myself, there will not be a third time. I promise), but she also genuinely cares about the health of my hair. Beyond hair, she’s been such a positive influence on my overall wellness and mindset. She encourages me to take care of myself in ways that go beyond beauty—focusing on self-love and authenticity . Every appointment leaves me feeling lighter, more confident, and falling back in love with myself and my hair.“
