They are willing to work around your schedule and explain things in ways it is easy to understand. We have the tools to be able to help our dog and future dogs be more well behaved and know their owners have the situation under control. Love this place and would recommend to any and everyone.“

“We had a great experience with Nick at Balanced K9 Academy. We left our Australian Shepherd puppy, Navy, with him for a two week board-and-train program while we went out of town. We also did several classes before we left so that Navy would be comfortable. She LOVED it. She came home with a lot of new skills, but the best part was that we never had to worry about her while we were gone. Nick has also done a great job teaching us how to work with Navy at home so we can build on everything she’s learned. We are very happy with the progress she’s made and we would definitely recommend Nick and Balanced K9 Academy.“

“I just switched to South Huntsville Veterinary Hospital because they have always been a great supporter of our school (Mountain Gap) participating in our Career and STEAM Fair. Last week I took my 4 cats, and this past Tuesday, I took my dog for their annual checkup and shots. My dog is always a challenge having to start anxiety medicine the night before and the morning of so that she is not as aggressive towards the vet. On top of that I need to put on two muzzles (soft and hard). We saw Dr. Hertha and when he first came in my dog barked agressively at him, but Dr. Hertha took his time, sat down and my dog even came up to him to be petted. In the end Dr. Hertha is the first vet ever that has been able to examine her ears and eyes! I was even amazed that they were able to give her medicine through the mouth. I called him the dog whisperer. I am so glad we switched. Also, with both my cats and dogs, I received a call the next day checking to see how they were doing after the appointment which I thought was very nice. I highly recommend South Huntsville Veterinary Hospital.“

“Bentley has been our veterinarian for the past five years. Dr. Hulsey and his staff are incredible. Twice they have saved my dog's life by being intentional and deliver it with treatment.
