“I've been using these guys for several years now and my pets just love them. Princess Pug is13 years old and scared of her own shadow and this is the only place I've ever found where she isn't shaking the whole time. They are so good with all my dogs. The dogs hate me clipping nails and pout for days, but they are so good when we go to Doggie Styles and they trim their nails. These are really nice folks and I've never seen a bad cut going out of there. We just need to remember that, like with our own hair stylist, they can only work with the hair and dog you bring them. No cut is going to make your dog younger and thinner or make the hair longer. Just remember the breed pictures for your dog are taken of dogs who have great coats and have been being styled for their entire life to achieve that effect. When you leave your dog will look the best that your dog can - and isn't that really what we want. Seeing our pupper look as good as possible. Remember to praise your dog when you leave so you can watch as your pupper struts and shows off with the confidence your approval gives him. I look forward to seeing you and all your pets there. “This team saved my dog today and I couldn’t be more grateful! As long as I live in the area, I won’t go anywhere else if it can be helped! Last night, my 40lb. dog dug out a 6in long porkchop bone and ate it whole. The ER vet didn’t know if they would be able to help him, and he was showing no signs of pain, so they suggested trying to get in with our regular vet this AM, but to come in if he started showing signs of distress or we couldn’t find anyone to help. We recently moved to the area and didn’t have a regular vet. The receptionist was calm, but urgent when she told us to bring him in as a work in (even though he was a new client) when I called first thing this morning. All of the staff we encountered genuinely cared about our dog’s wellbeing, and made sure he was comfortable and made sure not to push him (he is a rescue that has extreme anxiety and hadn’t had any of his meds this morning since there was potential for surgery). They were quick to get X-rays done, our vet made sure to meet with me quickly to go over what was seen (one part of the porkchop was sharp and could easily cause damage) and told me what he was seeing candidly but also without causing panic or without making me feel pushed into a potentially costly surgery. We were given an estimate range of what to expect, with an itemized estimate breaking down what would be charged if it ended up being more extensive side. We are on a very tight budget, but considering it was an urgent/possibly emergency surgery, the price was amazing and we happily agreed if it meant our dog would be safe and healthy. Drop off, X-rays, and talking to the doctor all happened in about an hour! Surgery went by quickly, and a tech called us when it was done! They kept him the rest of the afternoon for monitoring, and pickup was quick, easy, and they answered the questions that we have. I am beyond grateful to all of the team at Flint River that helped take care of and save my dog today. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!“
