I HIGHLY recommend the dress doctor for wedding dress alterations. Laura is an expert at her job. I am so happy that I trusted her to make my dress look perfect! She is very experienced which matters a lot. At my first appointment, she noted several small edits that would make the dress not only fit better but also flow more beautifully with movement. To take in my dress, she had to completely open the top and reconstruct it due to the asymmetrical design. I worry that a less experienced seamstress wouldn’t have know how to appropriately make that happen. I’d send every bride I know to her!

My dress had some ruching that complicated taking it in, but she did an amazing job! The dress stayed up all night, survived the dancefloor, and I was never worried about it sliding. The ballroom bustle was beautiful, and she color-coded the hooks so even my groom was able to help me bustle it before the reception.
