As a hijabi, it can be difficult to find a comfortable and private environment for a haircut. The owner was extremely kind and understanding. He asked me to come early the next morning so he could arrange the schedule around the male staff and make sure no men would come in while my hijab was off.
When I returned the next morning, the hairstylist who did my haircut was very sweet, caring, and attentive. She took great care while cutting my hair, and I was very happy with the result. The owner also made sure throughout the appointment that my privacy was respected, which truly meant a lot to me.
I really appreciate the kindness, respect, and effort they showed to make me feel comfortable. It’s not something I expected, and I’m very thankful for the experience.
