“We’d engaged Direct Restoration, initially speaking with Derek for an estimate which was completely reasonable, to restore and repair manifold ceilings and walls in our home after the heartache and chaos of a Poly-B (boo!!!) plumbing rip-and-replace project. The guys from DR were absolutely fabulous, and I mean everyone! The repairs they did (Quan and David) were impeccable and perfect, down to texturing and colour-matching. They did a massive amount of work, completed it on time, and under the estimate. You’d honestly never know that any damage had ever occurred, and this included a job I thought would have been impossible to pull-off (repair to a California knock-down textured ceiling—they did a blend that’s completely invisible). It's like facts don't matter to them and they go scorched earth for the most inane reasons possible. Absurd.In spite of what some of these reviews say, Winmar is outstanding to work with. Our insurance company referred them to us after a water leak and Winmar came quickly to triage the issue and didn't stop their hard work until everything was completed with as little pain and inconvenience as possible for us. Always left things tidy, workmanship was great (they replaced some drywall and it looks better than it ever has). They were appropriately communicative, professional and exceeded our expectations every step of the way.If you go with Winmar you'll instantly realize you're in capable hands. “This is a delayed review for carpet and upholstery cleaning we had done in June of 2025. We highly recommend this cleaning company (ServiceMaster at 920 26 St NE Calgary.) We couldn’t be more pleased with how clean the technician got our (pet-stained) carpet as well as our light-coloured sofa and loveseat. The furniture needed extra care because the cushions had some down filling in them and the technician was very attentive to that. His work ethic was outstanding. So much so that I wondered if he were new to the job so going the extra mile to get everything as close to perfect as possible, or if he was a long-time employee good at what he does and attentive to detail. Either way, we would not hesitate to use this company again or to recommend ServiceMaster to others.“
