“I had the BEST experience here tonight and I’m so grateful it was so positive. Despite being busy, I was given an appointment to get my hair cut before the end of the evening. Ryleigh was truly amazing at her job. Aside from working the salon alone, she was incredibly professional with all the customers and especially wonderful with me. We had delightful conversation while she did my hair and even as it got to be closing time and she wasn’t done, she showed no signs of frustration and simply finished her work—when I apologized for it being after 7, she told me she hadn’t even noticed. Whether or not that’s true, it was a kind thing to tell a customer. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it and I was able to enjoy my time as well. I fully recommend this business and even more, I recommend Ryleigh (tip her well)!“

On top of a difficult cut, I have pretty high anxiety and OCD which makes things difficult at times, but I am always willing to pay for my satisfaction.

After 3 attempts between awful color and cut at Cost Cutters, I called Robins Nest.

June was great. She could see the errors from the previous stylist and tried to keep the same cut. The layers were so uneven that we had to go pretty short. Once I got home and tried to style it, it was obvious that I needed a different cut altogether in order to have some sort of shape as things grow out.
I left a quick message and was called back immediately the following morning. She got me back in and did what she could to salavage a style that I can live with.
I tried to make small talk to help me feel comfortable communicating, but it wasn't well received and did impact my ability to speak up further. I would have asked her to taper even closer to my neck and round the edges to avoid this boxed look I'm left with on top of everything else, but that's on me. It's been hard to know what to say when I went from shoulder length hair to a pixie-bob without intention or desire.

Outside of that, she took care in pinning things up, checking layers, ensuring evenness and working with what she was given. I feel like she took pride in her work. All in all, I wish I had called here first.“
