My husband and I went to visit my parents and My Brother who are buried at Wood National Cemetery on August 8, I hadn’t been to see them since they were buried over 20+ years ago. I had no idea where to look for a main entrance or an office to find help with where they were.
We followed our GPS, and it took us to a memorial… we saw someone in a golf cart, that turned out to be Nathan Peters, who looked up where my family members were buried and took us to the graves. He was very polite, informational and very kind. He made sure our visit was complete.
Then showed us how to get out of the complex.

It is such an "HONOR" to have our loved ones laid to rest in this beautiful cemetery. It is truly breathtaking here. I just realized how these dedicated employees hear repeated sad stories of Veterans passing...yet still provided us the utmost honorable burial services. From start to finish each and every one of you were kind, compassionate and respectfully light hearted when needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤

Paid a visit on Memorial Day for the first time and I was very impressed. The grounds were clean the atmosphere was serene and loved the landscape. Although I may not know anyone buried here I could visualize the story being told and what these men and women went through to protect our freedom.
