Liz's place is so cute and fits well with her organic and holistic practice. She gave me a haircut when it had been over 6 months since I saw any professional and she did a smashing job! Her hair products are formulated by her and didn't leave my fine hair feeling weighed down. Because they're all organic, I felt like I was doing my hair a major service!! Plus, Liz is great with conversation, though she does have an option for silent haircut if you're not into that sort of thing. She has a little bit of everything for everyone and at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend Organicuts on Grant St. in Lake Geneva for your next service. Never had such a great experience with a lash tech EVER and I’ve been getting my lashes done for 3 years in multiple different cities and states. Not only is her work phenomenal and prices more than fair but she’s also a nice, caring and understanding person. Couldn’t recommend anyone more!

I live in Burlington but bring my dog to doggie daycare in Lake Geneva to The Barking-Lot and I’ve been doing that for eight years.
Our dog Summer has been going there since she was a puppy. She’s 8 now, so basically her whole life has included this place. She’s done dog daycare, boarding, and grooming over the years, and I can honestly say we’ve never had a negative experience. She is happy and over-the-moon excited every single time I drop her off.
It’s consistently clean. It always smells fresh and welcoming. I love that the staff actually know her. This isn’t some big box place where you have to use name tags because there are seven Goldens named Max. They greet everyone by name. They know their customers and their dogs, and it truly shows that they treat everyone like family.
They know Summer’s personality, her quirks, who she plays with. After this many years, that kind of familiarity means everything. When we board her, I don’t feel anxious leaving her. I just know she’s in good hands.
Honestly, the staff is the best part of this place. And it should be anywhere. It’s the same group of people every time I walk in. There’s no constant turnover, no meeting new faces who don’t know my dog. These people are one of the most amazing groups I’ve ever met, and I genuinely feel like they’re a second family to my fur baby.
And it’s the little things too! The holiday artwork, the themed days, the small projects. I still have some of Summer’s artwork saved because it’s just sweet and thoughtful.
Summer grew up there. That says it all.
Curt did a great job helping us decide from the various options and building the deck we wanted. He completed the work within the week that he estimated and was very communicative throughout the whole process. We couldn’t be happier with our new deck! Thanks Curt!
I rarely write reviews but felt I need to share the great experience with Ross Restorations. My older boat never looked this amazing. After being serviced (buff, wax, and bottom repairs) by Ross Restorations the compliments have been nonstop in the boat yard. A boater next to me told me how meticulous Steve was as he watched him transform my boat. Even two marina employees came over and complimented my boat and inquired who/what did the transformation. The service and results have far exceeded my expectations. As I said, I rarely write reviews but you can't go wrong with Ross Restorations.

I now drive 3.5 hours to get a haircut. So worth the cut. I thought that I would have to drive hours when I lived in Lake Geneva. I didn’t have to. But now that I found Skyler, I have to drive. I tried the glow facial. It was great! My esthetician was Jessica. Jessica is the best! I get facials often and you can tell Jessica is passionate about her work. Everything was perfect. The two people working at the front desk were also kind.
My husband and I started going to Organicuts in 2020 during the pandemic when illinois shut everything down. We ran across the salon while visiting Lake Geneva and gave them a try. Liz and Leah are so friendly and accommodating and always do an amazing job. We continue to drive an hour to their salon because we love how they cut/style our hair (my husband appreciates the extra barber-style attention to his side burns, brows, neck line, etc.), we like the relaxed atmosphere in the salon and we enjoy seeing them.
I can’t thank Peck & Weis enough for their help. We couldn’t find anyone in the area that could help with a broken pipe in our basement and it was somewhat of an emergency. They were there that day to check it out, and fixed it that week. I highly recommend Peck & Weis!

I wanted to particularly call out the young men who have come out multiple times now to bring, take back, bring, and then come back to enhance the flighted part of my basement. I asked Dr. Cox if she could floss one of my teeth. It is so tight to the next tooth that I can’t get the floss between them or it breaks and leaves a piece between my teeth. We love Dr. Rydberg and staff. My parents took their pets to him when I was younger so when I got my first dog this is where I went. Now my daughter goes there too with her pets. She lives two hours away, that should tell you something. He is very caring and compassionate and puts the animal 1st.

I normally am not one to leave reviews but I had to give this place the recognition they deserve. My dog was not doing well since having a bad experience with a groomer at his last location…he’d shake, cry, bark, and I would dread having to take him to get groomed, so I decided it was time to look elsewhere. That’s when I came across Spirit of Grooming. Today when I dropped him off (this was his 3rd time going there) he ran up to Katie (his groomer) and his tale was wagging the entire time. It was such a delight to see! I didn’t want going to the groomers to be a stressful experience for him, and I myself was able to leave him and not feel guilty or stressed.
Unlike many other groomers, here they focus on just your dog for the entirety that they are there. Before it would take 4-5 hours because he’d be put in a kennel to wait his turn while in a loud environment surrounded by barking dogs. Here, he is done in 2 hours or less in a quiet and clam atmosphere just with his groomer that he’s familiar and comfortable with.
I could truly go on and on about how happy and relieved I am to of found this place for my dog. If you’re looking for a groomer, look no further!
