“I am a transgender woman, so there are some extra things I look for in healthcare. After my first visit, which was 2 hours, I felt like I had made a new friend, a doctor friend who cares about my health and listens to my concerns. Dr. Johnson is very kind and personable and treated me with utmost respect. She is still learning about FTM transgender care, but she is 100% on board and supportive, and seems to really seem to want to get up to speed on everything for my best care.The small clinic felt more intimate rather than sitting in a huge lobby waiting with everyone else. My appointment was on time so I wasn't waiting a long time.One unexpectedly nice aspect was when I was done, I was just allowed to stay and rest after my blood draw, and I was free to go whenever. I didn't have to come by the front office to schedule my next appointment (I can do so from the app) or to pay anything (no copays.)I saw many of the 5-star reviews and wondered if there wasn't some "please rate us" incentive going on. I truly think that the service provided here is incentive enough to go and post a rating!“

“My experience at this setting has been superb! Phill Kelly has much skill and knowledge with acupuncture. Is a great listener. After a horrible car crash, I was left with a TBI and pain in my head and back, which is steadily subsiding due to the treatments I’ve been receiving. Additionally, the setting is very Zen; peaceful, beautiful. I give Burien Family Acupuncture and Phil Kelly my highest recommendation.“

“I called on a Monday and got an appointment for Wednesday. There was about a 20 minute delay in seeing the nurse and doctor, but it wasn’t the end of the world. The nurse and Dr Lara Hodel listened to my concerns and were empathetic and helpful. I liked that they could take my bloodwork there. I got the prescription I wanted the same day and the testing within 24 hours. I was happy to see many members of my community receiving services there and that they encourage and assist all residents, regardless of immigration or insurance status, to get care for them and their families.“

“Dr Alejo is the best, he’s one of the good guys, very smart and down to Earth. I trust him with my baby bump and medical needs. He's always very respectful of us and our beliefs, and listens to our ideas and gives good advice. Dr Hwang is excellent for advanced maternal age care. I have had the pleasure of meeting both doctors here. The rest of the staff is also wonderful from the lovely folks working the desk to the nurses and assistants running the back. Really great place and they listen to any feedback without judgement. I’ve seen some things get rearranged immediately and improved when they thought it wasn't working as smoothly as possible (like the labs for bloodwork) and thats wonderful evolution for an office like this. Keeps them on the cutting edge of customer service as well as professional research which isn't an easy balance. I wish everyone working there joy filled careers for the remainder of their years in business.“
