“We received a mailer from Matador Exteriors in May 2024, with a Google Maps picture of our home and an estimate for a roof replacement. A few days later I saw a message from Christie O’Dore on the Nextdoor website asking if anyone had received their mailer. At the time I wasn’t considering a new roof, but it was 20 years old and I knew it was just a matter of time , so I messaged Christie and told her that I would keep their mailer for future reference. I appreciated receiving the mailer rather than having someone knock on our door to try to sell us a roof because “they were in the neighborhood replacing so and so’s roof.” The estimate was detailed with two different options for shingles, gutters and downspouts. A few months later after some heavy rain I noticed some streaking that I had seen before I got the house painted last year. I called and Matt O’Dore came out, looked in the attic and the condition of our lower roof and pointed out how the edges of the shingles were starting to show fiberglass and how their should be more attic vents as well as roof vents for our bathroom fans. Matt provided an formal quote which was close to his estimate so I accepted the bid for new shingles, gutters, and downspouts with clean-out traps to prevent clogging downstream. We are very happy with the materials and workmanship, and how clean they left our yard when the work was completed. We also enjoyed working with Matt who came out to inspect the project and perform a final sweep for debris. We purchased the larger gutters and downspouts, the gutters are mounted with an internal bracket and screwed to the rafter tails, rather than large spikes which are visible on the outside of the gutters.“
