This included replacing numerous siding planks that formed cracks in the corners, dry rot on several corner pieces, window trims, and two barge rafters. When Jim came out to look over the house, he indicated the siding cracks were due to improper nails. He also pointed out other areas of dry rot I had not noticed, and the reason behind why it had started. I hired Jim to make these repairs. In the process of removing the defective siding and corner pieces, his crew uncovered dry rot on the sheathing in various places. His team also identified the source of the dry rot and corrected it. His team made all the necessary repairs to the sheathing, the siding, corner pieces and barge rafters. All in all, the crew did a stellar job on the repairs. Jim was in daily contact with me as the work was being performed; bringing to my attention other area of the house that needed attention. The house is now ready for its paint job.
