“Eye care specialties is super conveniently located in Lacey near the Harley Davidson Shop and the Ram, Minutes from my house. This is my second annual visit with them, my thoughts remain the same. The eye technicians here are fantastic. Knowledgeable, well spoken, and patient. They definitely know their jobs and that’s always nice. Waiting time pre-appointment is never too long. The facility itself is contemporary and clean. The eye examination rooms are spacious and comfortable, so if you have problems with anxiety at the eye doctors, there’s plenty of room so you don’t have a close space to make you more nervous. My first appointment I saw Dr. Rouse, my second appointment. I saw Dr. Keisler, Both are efficient. Dr. Keisler Provided plenty of information about my eye health, and had A very comfortable demeanor when she said she wanted to get an additional test performed for early glaucoma symptoms. The test came back completely negative, and she said I had actually grown nerve tissue since last year‘s appointment which is rare she said, but can happen with proper vitamin support. My only complaint and the reason for a one star reduction is that they need to improve their process at the end of the appointment. You wait around quite a bit for the optometrist to complete their review with the patient or patients that are in line before you. So, this can results in a wait that feels moderately like a waste of time. Both appointments I had made my arrangements to purchase my glasses somewhere else, so this definitely felt like a waste of very nearly an additional hour. Hopefully they’ll be able to improve that process as time goes on, but I felt like I was there longer than I should have been. Not bad enough to make me not want to go back. The rest of the staff seems to do a very, very good job and when I did talk to the optometrist, she was very kind, energetic, and proficient. It was obvious that she liked her job. I would recommend Eye care Specialties, I would offer probably a general recommendation. Letting anybody know about the time on the back end of the appointment, and that I can run a little bit long.“
